The ride was long and my mind wondered. I was thankful they knew the mistake of joining forces with Winter, but I also felt bad. They had no where to go except for Troy. Troy had a family waiting for him close to where we lived. The other three had no family according to them.

"Where do you plan to go from here?" I asked.

We all had stopped on a back road and were gathering around our cars. A bean field was spread across the valley, the wind moving the stalks slightly. I sat on the grass with Rain lying on my lap. Ren sat beside me while the guys stood around us. Frank leaning on his truck.

"I have my family waiting for me." Troy said with a slight frown. "To believe I was willing to leave them for something so idiotic."

"At least you have somewhere to be." I faced Frank who leaned against his black truck. He let out a dry chuckle. "Hell, you young-ins have your whole life to think about. What does an old man like me have to live for?"

"Shut your mouth pops," Ken said jokingly. "Did you forget about me and little mute over here? We're stuck in the gutters too."

"I'm not mute." We turned to Nathan who looked kind of aggravated. "I'm not little either you prick." He turned to us and bowed. "Excuse my language."

"No problem!" Ren yelled like always.

"Well look at that, he does talk." Ken patted Nathan's head. "Why keep silent?"

He glanced over at me and turned his attention to the valley. "I never had a say. I was an orphan, Winter took me in. I thought I was in debt to him, though I never agreed with his plans I still followed. I just realized my mistake until I saw Camillia and knew this was my chance. Talking was never necessary unless spoken to."

"I just asked why you keep silent I didn't want your life story," Ken said.

"That's a mouth full for you Nathan," Troy said. He paused. "You know, you could come along with us. Back to our home town." He gestured towards my friends and I.

Frank smiled. "Naw, I'll figure my own way. I don't need a kid like you helpin' me out."

"Then where will you go?" Caine asked.

Frank looked at him then turned his gaze towards the fields. "I may go west. Nice sunny places seem great right now. I'll be one of those beach bums or somethin'. Maybe even get a job."

"California isn't so bad," I mumbled. That was my hometown, the place where I grew up to be cold hearted and weak. Though I did gain one great friend there. I looked up and smiled. "But I wouldn't want to leave this place."

Frank didn't reply but his smile was worth more then he could say.

"What about you hot head? Ya got any plans?" Troy asked while slapping Ken on the back.

"Of course I do!" He turned towards me and smirked. "I'd love to stay with you babe but I think I'll be going somewhere alone. I may head to North Carolina, or Georgia. I might just stop by though once and a while so wait for me won't you?"

I scoffed and shook my head.

"You're not getting near her," Ray snarled.

Ken only smirked. We walked to our cars, Troy staying with the truck since Frank offered to drop him off. As the others went into Caine's car I walked over to the black truck. I stepped infront of Nathan, Rain right behind me. Nathan never turned around but I knew he acknowledged my presence.

"Where will you go?"

He didn't move an inch. Didn't make a sound. After a few moments he turned to face me, a small smile present on his face.
