I woke up early for school. When I looked the clock it read 6:15. I groaned and rolled out of bed. I'm not a morning person at all, I'd rather sleep all morning than wake up at dawn.
I went to get dressed, but I realized that I had the clothes on that I planned to wear. So I grabbed my backpack, shoes, and sweatshirt and went downstairs to wait for the bus. I just left my hair as it was, I really don't care what people think about. Since both of my parents are at work, they don't have the right to say what I need to wear or how my hair needs to be put back.I always left my hair in my face, its just another way not to get noticed.
When I got to the living room, I saw Brady falling asleep on the couch. I slipped on my shoes, and sweatshirt and sat down my backpack. Then I went into the kitchen to grab a pan and a spoon. I knew this was my chance for revenge.I walked up to the couch slowly and put the pan close to his face. Then I hit the spoon against the pan as hard as I could a couple of times. Brady sprung up of the couch and hit his face right into the pan. I couldn't say anything, I was laughing too hard.
" Ouch, what the heck was that for?" Brady asked while rubbing his face.
While trying to calm down I said,"That was for yesterday, but I didn't think that you would actually hit your head on the pan. That was a bonus." Brady was fully awake now, and went to get his shoes on. Grumbling as he did so.
" You're just lucky that mom and dad aren't here, or they would punish you for that," Brady said with a frown on his face.
" Well now that's what you think. And besides even if they did it would still be worth it," I said with a smirk on my face, still trying not to laugh.
Brady came back and sat on the couch, I did the same. Brady turned his attention to me." When does the bus come? I'm too awake now to just sit here."
I rolled my eyes at him. " Well first off the bus doesn't come to the house, we have to walk to the end of the street because its a dead end. And second it's your fault that you stay up till one in the morning, and don't pay attention to details when someone talks moron."
" Ok, so when do we need to start walking to the bus stop?" he asked with a defeated look on his face. I looked at the time, it was 6:24 the bus came at 6:35.
" Well since we have nothing else to do might as well start walking now."
We got our backpacks, and started walking down the street. I hated that our house was at the very end of the dead end. I looked back at the mansion across the street thinking I would see the face, but nothing was there.
We got at the bus stop, and kids had already gathered up. I stayed away from them, while Brady seemed to have them all surrounding him. Well I should say the kids in his grade or close to it. I didn't talk to anyone and no one came to talk to me.
That was until I stood there for about nine minutes.Three guys started to walk over towards me, but that's exactly when the bus pulled up. Just on time I thought as I walked on and sat two seats from the back. I didn't need those guys to try and be my friends, or worse flirt. I didn't notice that two of them sat behind me, or that the other was across from them. They didn't talk to me so, I didn't say anything.
I stared out the window all the way to school and no one sat beside me. I walked to my locker, got my things for first, second, and third class, and instantly went to class. My first class was art. I sat down in the back near the corner of the room.
The art room was huge, and each table was big enough to seat four people on each side. Each table had four chairs on one side that faced the board and the teachers desk. I had one chair on my left and two on my right. I didn't know if anyone sat here, and class didn't start till 8:15. It was only 8, so I started drawing.
