I stared at the scenery. I was at 'my spot'. I stood on the rock-like cliff, and sighed to see my breath. The snow had finally fell down and stayed. The view was all black and white, and the blue bright sky was clear. It was two and a half weeks till Christmas, and I go to my grandparents house the last week of Christmas. Which left me with a week and a half to do basically whatever.

I snuggled into my jacket. I didn't know why, but I felt that I needed to be here. Like some unknown force was telling me to come here.

I was lost in thought when I heard a crunching noise from behind me. I pulled out my switch blade from my pocket, and swung around into my attack position.

The person held out his hands and yelled," Hey, calm down it's just me! You know your friend?!"

Of course it was Ray. I put my knife up and walked towards him. " Since when do you carry a weapon? You're already lethal enough with your fists," Ray said with a smirk.

"Since you said to keep my guard up, but why are you here? And how did you know where 'my spot' was?" I asked getting in his face.

"I thought you would be a lot more happy to see me after four days," he said walking towards the rock-like cliff.

"Hey I'm not done talking," I said following him.

He looked at the view from where I was standing just a minute ago. I stood beside him. I stared at him, my eyes narrowed. " How did you know where 'my spot' was?" I asked again.

He laughed," Well it wasn't hard. I saw you walking torwards the woods. So I thought it would be nice to see you again, and followed you."

I huffed. I figured this would be only my spot to visit, not so anyone else could come by on their own spare time.

" So?" Ray asked.

"So what?" I snapped back.

"Why are you upset?"

I was surprised then shook that away. "How did you know I was upset?" I asked looking at the frozen river.

He shook his head. " I know when you try to cover up something you get mad. So what's on your mind?"

I looked back at him. He was so calm. I sighed seeing my breath rise in the air. "I'm sorry for my outburst. I was upset that someone else discovered 'my spot'. I mean this was the place I could get away from everything, well besides the roof," I explained.

" That's not all of it...is it?" He said.

Damn he saw through me. " No.....I'm just.....I don't know maybe worried? I can't really say, but I feel like something's watching me. And it bothers me that I can't figure out what it is."

He nodded understandingly, " I get it I've had the feeling I was being watched too for some time." He looked at the view. " This is really nice. It's peaceful and beautiful," he said softly.

"I know I'm surprised I found this place. But I just followed a little path and it led to here," I shrugged looking over the landscape.

" Hey Camie? I want to ask you something," He said looking at the ground.

" What is it?" I asked puzzled.

He shifted his gaze towards the trees. "Would you like to come over for  Christmas at my house?" He asked.

I stared at him, " Haven't I told you my family is going to my grandparents house to celebrate Christmas? It's in Bloomington, somewhere I think."

He shrugged," So? Why would that matter?" I gave him a concerned look.

" Are you that much of an idiot?" I asked.

He smirked," No I'm more of a fool."

My face turned red with anger. "You know what I meant," I said grinding my teeth.

"I know I just felt like you needed to be a little mad to warm up. And my parents celebrate Christmas during our second week off, for my dads side of the family. Then we go to my grandparents house to celebrate Christmas on my moms side, on Christmas week," Ray explained.

My head was dizzy," Wow... that's a lot of.....words at... ounce." He laughed at me. " Shut up will ya? Anyways you want me to come over to your house to celebrate Christmas on your dads side, correct?"

He nodded. " Yeah, That's right. So you coming? It's on Thursday."

I acted like I was thinking for two minutes before replying," Why not? It's not like I have anything else to do."

" Great! Oh, and by the way you need to wear something formal. My dads family thinks the whole casual attire shouldn't be worn on holidays or outings," He said and started to walk back out of the woods.

I stood there for a second before I realized what he said. " WHAT?!" I yelled running up to him. I grabbed him by the collar. " You mean I have to wear a dress?!" I hissed.

He shrugged me off and started walking again. " Well in other words yes, why?"

I groaned. " Why? Because I don't like dresses with their sparkles and pink brightness. Ugh and even the width of them! Have you seen some of those things? Their like five feet wide!" I complained.

Once I was done with my out burst I added," There's no way I'm going in a dress."

He smirked then made puppy dog eyes at me. " But you said you'd come! You wouldn't decline, would you? I'm your friend! How could you do this to me?"

He went on and on and finally I gave up. " FINE I'LL COME! Happy?"

He nodded. "Awesome! But you still have to wear a dress. Nothing big a simple black dress would do, or basically as long as it's a dress they won't care."

" Fine I'll wear a dress," I murmured. Then I smirked evilly. " Does that mean you and Caine will be wearing tuxes?" I asked.

" Yes we will, but why do you care?"

" No reason!" I said happily walking towards the edge of the woods. He became suspicious, and that he should. If I have to wear a dress I'm going to get pay back. I was out of the woods and Ray was standing still. Lost in thought.

" Hurry up! If you stand out in the cold you'll freeze to death! We wouldn't want that would we!?" I yelled to him.

He stood in place for a moment then smiled. " If I freeze would you warm me up!?" He yelled running out the woods.

"I would, with a cup of hot cocoa," I said.

" Well what are we waiting for? Let's go get some cocoa!" he yelled grabbing my wrist and dragging me along with him.

"Sure that sounds good," I said looking up at the blue sky.

I wonder what the rest of his family is like. I hope they're not as crazy as him and Caine. I laughed to myself imagining if his family acted like him.

" What are you laughing at?" Ray asked me.

"Oh, nothing," I said smiling.

" Yeah right. With you I'm sure you have something up your sleeve," Ray shot back.

I shrugged," I guess you'll find out."

He smiled. " I'll never understand you," he said to himself.

"Well that's good because I haven't figured you out either," I said poking his cheek at the last word.

We went to his house and made some hot cocoa. It was so warm. I still need to find a way for revenge. I'm not wearing a dress with out payback.
