I looked at the three of them, there eyes gleaming with curiosity and concern. They were willing to listen, so I took a deep breath. I could remember that day too easily.
~ 'That Day' ~
I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. I looked at the time, 7:30 a.m. I groaned and picked up my phone.
" Hello?" I asked sleepily.
" Camillia! meet me at the old abandoned church! See you there!"
" Wait Sheila-"
She hung up. What the hell? I put on some clothes a t-shirt, jeans, my sweatshirt, and put on my shoes. It was September and chilly outside.
When I got to the church Sheila was there waiting patiently. Then she spotted me.
" Camillia! I can't wait to show you this, come on," she said tugging on my arm.
" Sheila what is the meaning of this? It's Saturday morning," I stated sleepily.
" Just come on," she pleaded.
"Fine lets go."
She led me to an old building. "Sheila, why are we here? This place looks abandoned," I moaned.
"Sure the outsides nothing special but look inside!" she said dragging me to the door.
I looked inside and the place was amazing. There were expensive, foreign vases, and nice fancy jewelry. And in the center was a big huge safe.
" Did you do this?" I asked.
"Me? hell no, you think I have this much dough to throw around? This stuff was here when I entered the room, and rushed to tell you," she stated.
I eyed all the things in here. Something didn't feel right. " Sheila, doesn't this seem strange to you?"
She sighed," Yeah I mean it's odd these things were left here, but I don't know why I never thought to come in here until today."
I felt uneasy being here. " Sheila we should go," I stated turning towards the door.
"Come on we have to go upstairs. I haven't seen the stuff in there yet!" she explained walking up the staircase. I followed uncertain of the outcome.
We got upstairs and she instantly ran into a room. " Come on!" she called. Something's not right. We shouldn't be here. Something bad happened here. I followed her anyway ignoring my senses.
I came to the room and it was empty besides a huge, old, antique wardrobe, and Sheila staring at it mesmerized.
" Wow, this thing's huge! I wonder why these people left it here," she questioned to herself.
"Sheila we need to go," I said my senses were overwhelming me. Telling me to get the hell away from here.
She was going to speak, but then we heard voices from below. Four deep male voices came from the room we entered. Sheila looked at me scared. I pointed to the wardrobe and we quietly crawled inside. I could hear the voices easily.
" Did you forget to close the door on the way out?!" A guy said.
" How could I forget?! You yell at me if I walk two steps!" Another guy said.
" You two are fucking idiots! Quit fighting and make sure everything's here," yet another guy said.
" Would you three shut the fuck up?! Didn't you hear something when we came in? It sounded like it was from upstairs," obviously the leader stated.
