~ Ray's POV ~

As Camie walked up the stairs to find Caine, I felt uneasy. Something's wrong. "What are we going to do?" I asked running my hand through my hair.

"I honestly don't know, Camie said she had an idea," James reminded us.

"Yeah, but now that may not work since they're already on our tail," Ren said.

We sat in silence. My head was pounding and I couldn't figure out why I felt so troubled. I couldn't take it anymore and stood up to walk upstairs. Right then, three knocks were heard from the door. We all froze in terror.

"Hey guys open up! It's me, Greg!"

We looked at each other. "I'll go answer it. It may be a trap, be on guard," I ordered before walking towards the door. I turned the knob and opened it slightly to see Greg standing at the door step. He burst through before I could even open it up all the way. I stumbled backward and landed on my butt.

"What the hell Greg!?" I yelled at him. I stood up and glared at him.

"What are you doing here anyway?" James asked.

Greg smiled. "Well Caine never showed up for practice and figured something went wrong. I have a bad feeling," he paused and looked around the room. "Where's Hana?"

I tensed up. James and Ren exchanged worried looks.

"She's upstairs looking for Caine," Ren choked out.

Greg's eyes widened along with mine. We both realized the same thing. "It's a trap!" We yelled together.

"James! Ren! Be on lookout! Make sure no one comes in or goes out!" Greg yelled. They ran to the exits as instructed. "Ray come with me," Greg ordered. We ran up the stairs and to Caine's room. "Open it on three," Greg whispered to me. I nodded. "One, two, three." On three I threw the door open, and my heart shattered. We both stood shocked. Troy had Camie in his arms and was about to jump out the window.

Troy noticed us and waved. "Until next we meet," he said with a smirk, and launched himself off the window sill.

I clenched my jaw and shot to the window. I saw him running away with Camie passed out. I instantly jumped up to the window.

"Ray! Get down from there!" Greg yelled. Before I could jump, he wrapped his arms around my waist and tried to pull me back inside. "Ray listen! Get down now!"

"Let me go! I have to save her before it's too late!" I struggled to get out of his grip.

Caine grabbed me and threw me away from the window. I landed on the ground. "Calm down now!"

"I need to hurry!" I tried to stand up but Caine pushed me back down with his hand.

"I now you're taking this hard, but you won't be able to save her," he said staring me in the eyes.

I shoved his hand off me. "What do you mean I can't save her?! I can and will! I have to leave!" I jumped up and turned to the door. Caine grabbed my shoulders and shook me.

"Dumbass listen!" I loosened up and quit struggling. His grip never relented. "You can't go on your own. Calm down so we can help you."

I felt tears starting to form in my eyes. I quickly blinked them away and looked up at Caine. "We have to get her back." My voice was weak and shaky. I put a hand on his arm. "Please, we have to hurry."

His arms fell to his side and I shoved my shaky hands into my pockets.

"I don't know if we can save her today, but I have an idea I'm sure will work," Greg said confidently.
