Donghyuck emerged from his room freshly showered, only to find Yizhuo and Gayoon stuffing their mouths with cookies. The tray that had once been full was now nearly half-empty.
Standing at a distance, Donghyuck leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed, watching the girls chatter away. Their animated gossip and laughter filled the kitchen, leaving them oblivious to his presence.
He smirked mischievously, waiting until they were deep in conversation before strolling over. Reaching between them, he grabbed a cookie without a word.
"Ah!" Yizhuo yelped, startled. "Oppa! When did you get here?"
Donghyuck took a bite, his expression serious. "This is good."
Yizhuo rolled her eyes. "Well, duh! I wouldn't be eating it if it wasn't."
He gestured toward Gayoon. "Did you even thank her? She's the one who made it possible."
"I did," Yizhuo replied before Donghyuck could open his mouth. "What about you, oppa?"
Donghyuck turned to Gayoon with a soft smile. "It's delicious."
"Thanks?" Gayoon replied, her tone unsure.
"You should be thanking her, not the other way around!" Yizhuo interjected, glaring at her brother.
Donghyuck chuckled and turned to Gayoon. "Alright, alright. But now it's time for you to stop eating and start getting ready. You'll be late for your dinner."
"Oh, shoot!" Gayoon jumped to her feet, quickly brushing crumbs off her clothes.
Donghyuck reached out, his finger brushing the side of her lips. Startled, Gayoon froze, their eyes locking.
"You had crumbs," he murmured, wiping them away. "You're eating well, huh?"
Gayoon chuckled nervously. "Thanks."
Yizhuo giggled, biting into a cookie like a mischievous hamster. "Now kiss!"
Both Gayoon and Donghyuck turned to her, laughing at her playful squeal. But Donghyuck, ever the tease, smirked and pulled Gayoon closer by the waist, pressing a quick kiss to her cheek.
"Oppa!" Yizhuo shrieked, running around the room with exaggerated excitement. Meanwhile, Gayoon stood frozen, her face a mix of shock and embarrassment.
Donghyuck leaned in again, placing a soft kiss on her temple before chuckling. "Come on, love. Your cousins are probably already calling you."
Snapping out of her daze, Gayoon swatted his arm playfully. "You're such a tease."
"Why?" Donghyuck teased, leaning closer. "Do you want me to kiss you somewhere else?"
"Forget it!" Gayoon groaned, turning to Yizhuo. "Where's Yizhuo?"
"YES?" Yizhuo chirped, appearing with a wide grin.
Gayoon pulled her into a hug.
"Visit me again soon, okay?" Yizhuo said, faking a sob.
"Of course! We have each other's numbers now anyway!"
"You exchanged numbers?" Donghyuck asked, raising an eyebrow.
