The shining holidays had come and gone, and the snow lingered like a gentle blanket draped across the city. The Winter Break offered much-needed rest for Tantiana University's students, but the campus buzzed with energy once again as it prepared for two highly anticipated events: the Valentine's Day celebrations and the annual Sports Fest.

For the university, February 14 was sacred—a day where love reigned supreme. Games were paused, schedules cleared, and the campus transformed into a romantic haven. Every shop and café overflowed with red and pink hearts, balloons, and themed decorations. It wasn't unusual to hear wedding bells echoing across the city, a fitting backdrop to the day's festivities.

Gayoon and Donghyuck arrived on campus amidst a wave of playful teasing.

"Aww, you're not matching!" Yizhuo exclaimed, pouting as she pointed between their outfits.

Gayoon chuckled. "We're not into overly public displays of affection. You two are adorable, though."

"Really?" Yizhuo huffed, motioning to her outfit. "This cardigan was not part of my plan. I was going to show off my favorite red halter top!"

"I think the manufacturer forgot the back part," Yangyang quipped, earning a light smack on the arm.

"It's a halter top!"

Donghyuck smirked. "Glad to see you've trained your soulmate well, Yangyang."

"Oppa!" Yizhuo whined.

"Now, now," Gayoon intervened with a laugh, "let's move before we're late for attendance." She slipped her hand into Donghyuck's and tugged him toward the gates.

The festive atmosphere of Valentine's Day filled the air. From the scent of cotton candy to the laughter of couples at game booths, love was on full display.

Donghyuck found himself grimacing at the overly sweet cotton candy Gayoon loved, and his grumpiness deepened when he failed repeatedly at the claw machine. Yangyang, ever the show-off, easily won a stuffed toy for Yizhuo. Not wanting to be outdone, Donghyuck tried again and again but came up empty-handed.

In the end, Yangyang handed the prize to Gayoon, who giggled at Donghyuck's dramatic pout. His jealousy lasted all of two minutes before he was back to smothering her with light kisses on her cheeks, forehead, and the back of her hand.

For Donghyuck and Gayoon, the past few months had been transformative. They'd spent their first Christmas and New Year's together with their families. Despite the inevitable challenges, their bond only grew stronger. Even now, their hearts still skipped a beat with every stolen kiss or tender touch.

As the day unfolded, the group of friends naturally split into two. Gayoon found herself with Ryujin, Yuna, Renjun, Yangyang, and Jisung, while Donghyuck stayed with Yizhuo, Mark, Jeno, and Jaemin.

"Is it weird that I'm here instead of with the others?" Renjun asked, his brow furrowed in confusion.

"Not at all," Gayoon reassured him as they stood in line for refreshments. "Yangyang's with us too, and no one's questioning it."

"You're a familiar face," Yuna added. "You can hang out wherever you like."

"Where's Doyoung-hyung?" Jisung asked.

"Chained to his office for their own Heart's Day events," Ryujin replied with an exaggerated eye-roll. "He'll show up later this afternoon."
