Chapter 21 Sarah Smith's Point Of View.
The cool glass felt relaxing on my forehead.
Tree's were only blurring images as we pasted them as we drove along the highway, It was mid-afternoon , we would be getting to my grandmothers by supper, just in time for the sunset.
"Roll up your window." I groaned at Macey, she did so , quietly and squirmed around to make herself comfortable , she sprawled out her legs , placing her feet on me. I thought about it and left them there. I was in a good mood, after leaving Jeremy's , things have seem to fall in place , the right way.
Jake called the house the night Jeremy kissed me , to see well...if it was true. It was hard to tell him but he said it would be fine, in a low mumble. Jeremy has been on my mind ever since, I mean yes , it feel wrong being with him , considering I was with his brother first, but it felt wrong to be without him.
"Sarah, can you do something for me?" Mom asked as she turned around in the seat.
"Yes?" I asked as I fumbled with taking out my earphones.
"Can you not talk about , well the baby...I just don't want to worry your grandmother, you know how she is.." she trailed off. I nodded silently , and went to look out the window. A small tear trickled down my cheek , I wiped it quickly. I did understand why I should not tell my grandmother what happened, she was old fashion , she believed that sex comes only after marriage, that everyone did that. And in a way , I felt as if I betrayed her.
I placed my earphone back in my ears , letting the music fill the sadness inside me.

"We're here!" My mother screamed. I opened my eyes abruptly , looking outside my window. I smiled and hopped out of the car. The sweet aroma of the salty sea surround me. Grandma's beach house was old , almost one hundred years old , and that why I loved it so much, all the character that was in it was irreplaceable
When my feet fell in the soft grass , it felt like home , as if I belonged here. I went to the back of the car and opened the trunk taking out my belongings.
There was a long walkway to the door , all smashed piece's of stone lead to it. The blue color was fading on the house , and chipping. The black roof was still the same, the white steps and porch were re-painted. Grandmother was sitting on one of her rocking chairs placed on the porch , drinking a cup of tea.
The sun was setting , making a light pink sky behind the house , the water from the beach , behind the house was a light blue , you could see right to the bottom.
"I'm so glad you here," Grandmother greeted as we approached the steps. One by one we gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek , she told each , Macey and I , that we were more beautiful then the last time. "Go place you stuff inside, grab whatever you'd like from the fridge." She insisted.
The yellow door opened with squeak, just as always. The grand stairs was the first thing you saw , then beyond that was the kitchen/dinning room. To the left was a small living room with the bay windows. Macey and I went up the stairs , going to our old room. Yes we shared a room , we did ever since we were young.
The flooring creaked with each step you took. There was four bedrooms on the upper floor, an office, Grandmothers room , mine and Maceysand mom and dad's. I followed Macey to our room , which was the last on in the hall.
The two twin beds , looked the same as last time. Both with flower sheets and stuff toys placed on the pillows. I dropped my bag's on the floor and dropped myself on the bed. I placed my head on the pillow , taking in the familiar sent of grandmothers softener.
