Chapter 14 Jake Wesley's Point Of View

 "That was interesting." Samantha chuckled as she came out. She was in her Pj's with Bunny Slippers.

" Nice slippers." Jer chuckled , I chuckled with him , Samantha's face turned read she stepped back behind Sarah , Sarah looked impatient by tapping her foot.

" I told you to leave Jake." she looked at me with pure anger , I just nodded in silence and stepped in the car cranking up the radio, I kept playing back in my head when Macey slapped me , my face still stung ... I just can believe she of all people would do that. , I think everyone has changed this summer.

" Sarah , Sarah calm down !" Jer tried and I mean tried to calm down her , I think her hormones were all out of wack.

" Its ok it just her hormones." Samantha said grabbing both of Sarah's arms , she whispered something then all of a sudden Sarah's face wasn't red anymore it was normal . " im going to take her in now." She pulled Sarah in the house then slammed the door. Jer waited a few seconds then came back to the car and opened it , as soon as he heard the music he started singing along

"I wanna to be a billionaire so freaking bad ," He was a horrible singer , but I kept my mouth shut because I didn't want to crush his self esteem. Jer started the engine the asked

"Ready to go?"

" If I don't the cops will come."

" True , true , Hopefully they don't come because well I don't mom to get more pissed then she already is ."

 " Yeah.." the I continued to stare out of the window tapping to the beat of the song.

 A few minutes of silence got interrupted because Jer said

 " Im so sorry bro ... I know I saw it like 1 million times but I truly am sorry .. I didn't mean to do that to Sarah .."

" You mean have a kid with her?"

" Yeah.." he went all into nerves

" Well what's done is done." I said continuing the beat of the song on my leg.

" I know ... I just cant see us like this anymore."

" It sounds like your apologizing to one of your girlfriends."

He laughed " I know ... but I mean it , im not use to us fighting we always got along."

" Well you ruined it."

" I know and im sorry .." he trailed off mumbling.

" I know your sorry.. But these things take time to get over.."

" Jake its been 2 months now ! ,when will it be better when the baby comes?"

" I know it has.." I cant believe 2 months gone. My summer of "fun" gone.

" Im sorry" he said as he turned up Milder street .

I knew this couldn't last forever... I just didn't want to be the grouch anymore... I want to forgive him.. I just am confused... What is there to be confused about? I thought ... it not like he'll do that again ... im pretty sure Sarah is the last one he'll ever have sex with.

I managed to say " Its... well.. I forgive you " Jer 's face glowed a big smile came on his face. " I'm only forgiving you , you got that?"

"Yeah , yeah whatever , as long as we can go back to normal!"

" That's going to be hard."

"Why?"

"The baby."

" Right w-" Jer got interrupted by a loud pitch scream like you would hear if a killer was going after a girl .

" What the hell?"

" My ringtone" he answered with a smile

" For mom?"

" No even worse, Sarah " I chuckled , " Don't tell her I said that."

" I wont."

" Hey , yeah ... no wait what no I cant get food at almost 11 pm! Everything is liked closed ! McDonald's . Are you serious? McFatties?... no im not.. " he took a pause and rolled his eyes " fine. " he hung up the phone and gave out a big breath.

" Were going to make a slight detour." he said turning the car.

" To ?"

" McFatties. Sarah and Samantha want ice cream and fries at this time of night. "

I just gave out a laugh , I noticed that Jer was trying to put his phone back in his pocket he dropped it by the gas pedal ,

" I'll get it , " I said reaching down Jer slapped my hand away and said

" No , no I'll do it. "

" That's a stupid mistake ! You could crash or something !" he ignored me and tried to steer and grab a phone. Did I also mention he is wearing he tacky sunglasses's? Yup at 11 he is , when I went to grab the wheel to steer the car did a u turn then it all went black.
