Chapter 15

~Elina's POV~

"Who is the murder?"

"Jack Levsona."

What the hell! That is the same last name as Sophie's. Maybe they come from distant lines and don't know each other. Yeah let's just say that.

"Can you tell us what he looks like and what might be his motives?" Matt asked. He would want to know any information.

"Well," Anthony grabbed a book from the opposite counter and opened it. "This is the family line of the Levsona. The were known to be connected to the MoonGoddess which made keeping documents precious. It started here with Lona and Wilson and they had four sons. Of course one of them became Alpha and the others could have started their own pack or become the ranks beneath the Alpha. One of their sons, William, started another pack. He had offspring two sons and one daughter. William even made sure that who ever married his daughter took her last name. One day the four sons found out that their parents died or a more understanding term killed. After every ten years a Levsona died as people thought since they are connected to the MoonGoddess directly too many of them would cause chaos."

"So you saying this guy Jack is only killing because some people long ago were killing his ancestors every ten years?" I asked.

"Yes and rumor has it, this little ritual is still continuing to this day."

"Shouldn't that be against Werewolf law everywhere?" Matt asked.

Anthony chuckled. "You would think so but the Earth is a pretty big place."

"Would our only option be to kill him?" I asked.

"I suppose, ya'll would have to watch out for others to."

"Does this dude Jack have any siblings?"

"No and I'm not sure he is close to anyone in his legitimate family."

"I have a question though, how do you know it's Jack?" I asked. We can't just go kill an innocent and think we are safe when we are not.

"I actually use to know Jack when I was young. Jack was told stories about his families past. As creepy as it sounds I think the purposely did that so whatever is happening can occur. Even though I stopped seeing him so frequently he was always talking about how he will kill for his family. I took it as he would protect them, but hey I'm not a psychologist."

"So there is a playing board he is a pawn,"Matt said.

There is so much more to look out for now. But who is playing the game board?

"How can you convince someone to just kill?"

"Some make deals with the 'Devil' or someone powerful. Jack must be getting some type of benefit out of it," Anthony said.

Matt sighed loudly. I rubbed his back feeling tense muscles.

"We need to go now but you really helped us. It is just sad to know that there might actually be bigger plans," I said and then stood up Matt following suit.

"Wait before you leave I have a book to give to you Elina," Anthony said and walked to the back of the house and quickly came back.

"Take this book and read it, I think it will help with things."

I nodded and thanked him. Matt called a taxi cab and we waited. Both of us stuck in our own thoughts. Is someone specifically targeted? Am I a target?

The yellow car pulled up and we hopped inside. Matt told the directions and the next fifteen minutes had me in a blank state.

Have you ever ate so much that it felt like you stomach was just a black hole and more and more food can just keep on entering? Well I feel like that right now.

After Matt and I got back to the hotel we decided to get something to eat and the restaurant just happened to have an all girl eating contest. And to forget my worries I signed up.

I should have a chance at winning, I am eating for two. The food was just a bunch of ribs and fried chicken with three glasses of water on the side. I definitely need to play smart.

I looked at my contestants and saw some and not so much competition. Two girls were skinny as hell, one looked like a body builder and the other was about average.

I looked over at Matt and saw him looking directly at me.

'Are you sure about this?' Matt linked.

'Yes, it should be fun. Also don't watch me eat the whole time I'm sure you don't want to remember chewed food in my mouth.'

'Doesn't matter beautiful.'

I blushed and looked down at the food. Damn there is a lot.

"Hello everyone today is the annual Annie's Girl Eating Contest!" Everyone cheered. Ya I bet they are happy they are not the ones about to gain 50 pounds. Now that I think about it I think that's why the skinnies joined.

"Well today we have theses young ladies eating our famous chicken and ribs. Who ever wins gets a gift card and a t-shirt celebrating your victory. So ladies get ready. On your mark, get set... EAT!"

I went for the ribs first. They were delicious but it sucks I couldn't enjoy them a little more. I pulled the tough meat off the bone one after another. I looked over and saw body builder already done and I had two ribs left. OH hell no.

I sent a message to her mind that said she will eat slower and involuntarily burp every so seconds. But hey it is not considered cheating when it doesn't even exist to humans. I drank some water so I can start eating the chicken wings.

I put it all the way in my mouth and sucked the meat off. I pulled it out my mouth and saw that it was basically spotless. I kept on doing that over and over again. Toward the end my mouth was hurting and I felt like I was pregnant or something. There was definitely another size body inside of me.

"And the winner is contestant #2! What is your name honey?"

"Elina."

"Our winner is Elina!"

Everyone cheered and Matt had a smirk on his face. I took little sips of water not wanting to vomit. I got up to receive the gift card and t-shirt. I took a picture with the lady as she said they will hang it up on the wall with the others.

But before I thought of leaving that place I washed my face.

"How do you eat chicken wings like that?" Matt asked.

I shrugged. "It just comes naturally."
