Chapter 5

After hearing the news about how Rosa is Martin mate, I put her to bed in a spare room and then went to sleep with Matt.

How is any of this possible? It just doesn't make sense. She is only eight!

I was siting on the edge of the bed with my head in my hands. For the first time I have nothing to do. Matt had to go to an all Alpha meeting. Marie was out with her mate. But me I'm stuck here alone.

I layed back on the bed when the door opened. Oh that's right Rosa is here...

"So you ready to train?" Rosa asked me.

"Sure why not, my calendar is empty."

"Well what are we waiting for? Let's go," Rosa said and then pulled me off the bed. She is strong.

We we out back with the field to ourselves. The necklace started to hum with a light glow. I looked down at Rose and saw she had the same exact necklace. Could we really be sisters? Rose stopped in the middle of the field and sat down. I followed the suit and leaned back.

"So what we doing today?" I asked.

"We will do basic powers. Like with elements," Rosa said and faced toward me.

"Which element?"

"We could do earth since we are on the ground," Rosa suggested.

"Sure." 

"Okay then but I'm going to have to give you a history lesson," Rosa said.

"Ugh, Fine."

"As you know earth is one of the elements of the Ying and Yang. It's the largest to control but one of the easiest. We are werewolves, we are already connected to the earth. When the MoonGoddess created us she was planning on making the four originals. She saw the beauty of knowing each element and was worried she would cause a battle if one only knew the power of one and or became to powerful."

"Okay then, well lets get this started." I said and stood up.

"Great I will teach you the basics first. I'm going to help you control the earth or say levitate it," Rose said and then put out her hand. The ground lightly shook and a piece of earth came out of the ground. Rose started moving her arm around and the dirt followed.

"Fascinating," I said.

"When you do this you need to feel connected to the earth and defy gravity. Even if the rock is huge imagine it being as light as a feather," Rosa said and put the dirt down.

"Okay lets try this." I extended my arm and pretended my feet had roots underneath and connected to the ground. I lifted my arm as I concentrated my energy on the dirt rock. It lifted up and then dropped to the ground. Wow it didn't even last that long.

"Well that was good for a beginner," Rosa said. 

"Hope your not lying."

I kept on trying to hold it up longer or hold for as long as I wanted to. But after 20 times it lasted.

"There is an activity we should try. Sensei did this as I was taught."

"Okay what to we do?" I asked.

"Well first we are going to be spread apart. Next I'm going to get a boulder and past it to you, then you will stop it and and pass it back. It will help your control."

We were on opposite sides of the field facing each other. Rose had a boulder floating in the air, which was huge.

"Where did she get the boulder from?" I whispered.
