Chapter 35

Heavy.
Everything is heavy.
Clank.

I'm chained up and was abandoned by Carrie. I really want to believe that she knew that they were coming, but I might still need her help.

I'm in a room chained to the wall with a bed right across from me. I want to lay on it though I'm sure bed bugs are crawling about waiting to sucks some blood out of my body.

I should be able to get out of here easily. There are locks on the chains. I can probably freeze the chains and then break them. I though am curious why the would put someone with my power in such an easy escape.

I extended the coldness from body and watched the chains frost over. When they were covered I pulled with all force and watched them shatter to the ground.

A door waiting to be opened. The door knob clicked quietly and hallway was what came after. I walked down on the plush carpet once I got to the end I turn left and a house formed in front of me. I would assume this is the living room. It feels empty and oh so empty. 

I turned right and appeared in a kitchen. Everything was clean besides the couple of dishes in the sink. I walked in another room and was slammed to wall.

"Ugh!"

A man who looks around my age had my arms above my head his legs pressed on mine to limit movement. The long he held on the weaker I felt.

"Don't you smell delectable baby girl," he said and pit his nose by my neck and in my hair. My body started to heat up.

"What is this feeling?"

"You do feel it. Don't worry baby girl it will be quick." Fangs popped out and he bit on the left side of my neck.

"Ahh!" I grumbled. My body started to relax and he pulled away. I looked at his face and blood dripped down his chin.

Taste it.

"Do it I know you want to."

On impulse I licked the blood from his mouth and to his chin. Its...sweet. 

"Look at that your eyes dilated."

"Why does it taste so well?" I asked. I just drank blood and liked it and he sucked blood...

"Your a Vampire. Why the hell am I here?"

"I had to complete the first step before the awakening. Elina there is so much more to you than you think."

"Who captured me! Why am with you and not other Werewolved?"

"To many questions now. I need to take you back."

"But-"

We appeared in front of Carrie's mansion in that split second.
"Holy shit."

"Might want to clean you up," he said and licked the blood off my neck and the area where he bit me. It sucks that is still can't harm him. Damn it.

My body shivered as he did so.

"Till we meet again." And then he was gone. That son of a bitch.

I walked up the path way and opened the door. Everything was still normal.

"Carrie! Where the hell are you!" I looked for her mind link and watched how it went upstairs and down the hall. I quickly made it to her room and busted the doors open.

"Elina, goodness!"

"Hmm I bet you on your whole closet that you didn't come looking for me."

"Had to leave and keep everything safe."

"What the hell? If I was dead what would be the point of researching?"

"Everything is important."

"You've gone crazy Carrie."

"You just don't understand child. Soon you will."

"Ugh, forget it," I say and turn to leave.

"I'll see you at dinner," Carrie said.

"If I don't decide to starve myself," I mumbled. I slammed the door behind me and felt the shake.

Maybe I'm being to hard on her or maybe not enough. I know she is getting older but she went crazy in a day.

For now I will rest till dinner.

I plodded my way to the kitchen for dinner. Carrie will probably have a sweet smile on her face as if nothing happened.

Though the food smells delicious. A rotisserie chicken was placed in front of Carrie right beyond her plate. Vegetables, macaroni and cheese, toasted bread and mashed potatoes and gravy surrounded it.

I sat to her left and began to dig in. The food taste wonderful in my mouth. I haven't seen Jake in awhile well I guess a day.

After I finished my first plate of food Carrie began informing me.

"I want to tell you about your awakening Elina," she said, but this time her face is normal and serious.

"While I was reading it put it as you were going to go through a transformation. And through this transformation the supernatural will be affected. Good receive and bad gets taken. But there is another interesting thing about it. The day of your awakening a child, more specifically, a Vampire child will be born and will be king and you are destined to meet him. I'm curious why. Werewolves and Vampires are not exactly close but not far apart either."

"Hmm. Do you know when I'm suppose to 'awaken'?"

"Three days from now."

"Only three days? But that is so soon..."

"Means we must prepare for the worst."

"Do you know of any Vampire family's that could be having a child?" I asked Carrie.

"Not of my knowledge."

I can't stop thinking about what happened earlier. Does any of that have to do with the awakening? Will I ever crave blood again? The thought sounds dreadful.

"I think I'm finished for the evening. Goodnight Carrie."

"Yes I understand, goodnight child."

I pushed my chair away from the table and headed back to my room. I plopped on the bed and rolled over on my back.

Am I threat to this world? I'm truly scared of what comes next. Will I be here tomorrow? The next day? The day after that?

One thing I know is that there is another chapter in my life that is about to begin.
