Chapter 23

"Hmm you have a great friend Matt."

"That dude is nuts."

"So what should we do now?"

"I don't know, it is already bad enough Rosa is in a room alone," Matt said and took a bite out of the Shepard's Pie.

"I guess we can only try to escape when the door is unlocked," I said. Man this food is good!

"If they try to stop us I'm sure we can take them. Rosa and I have powers and your a power house."

Matt nodded in response. Once we were done with our food we put it besides us on the night stand and got into bed. I turned off the lamp and we laid in darkness. I snuggled into Matt and relaxed my breathing.

"We will get out of here," Matt said.

I yawned and went to sleep. A little confused or shock or the situation. Talk about a loyal one.

I woke up at 8 o'clock and I realized that I was hungry and bored. I got up and went to the bathroom to shower and change. After I got dressed I started brushing my teeth when Matt comes in and starts peeing.

"Um excuse me?"

Matt opened his eyes and looked at me like he was confused. I pointed down and he looked. His eyes got big and then he put his stuff away. He came over to the sink to wash his hands.

"Do you normally do something like this every morning?"

"Kinda. Your never usually up this early so no one is suppose to be in here. I basically sleep walk."

I nodded and finished brushing my teeth. I brushed my hair quickly so Matt can take a shower and get dress. I sat on the bed and looked at the decorations of the room. Everything seemed old, like they are trying to scare us. Stuff in like the Poltergeist, flower wallpaper, wooden chairs lamps and even an older T.V.

I want to talk to Rosa and find out if she was on lock down also. I'm sure they wouldn't have done it to themselves.

I remember that Rosa could link with me and we are not in the same pack. I close my eyes and see if I could look for her link or whatever. Maybe it's the same with radio waves, imaginary link lines. I concentrate and relax, I open my mind. I open my eyes again and this time I see a pure white line go to the bathroom where Matt is and then a blue line going into the room next door where Rosa should be.

I 'spoke' to the blue line. 'Rosa?'

'Elina?'

'This is cool I finally was able to mind link with you.'

"Ya that is cool now we can have secret conversations!'

'Yup but I wanted to ask you if they put you on some type of lock down?'

'No they just gave me yummy food and a coloring book and also there is a nice T.V. in here, best HD.'

I'm pretty sure my theory is correct about the Poltergeist similarities. 'Okay then I will see at 9:30.'

'Okay.'

I cut off the link and my vision went normal, no more visible mind links. Matt came out the bathroom drying his hair with a towel. "The lock down is almost over," Matt said and pointed at the digital clock.

I flopped back on the bed and wonder what exactly they need me to do with them. Just get a message? I'm sure they are capable enough to do that themselves. Matt took my hand and started to massage it.

"We definitely have to kick ass today."

"I know," I said and then sighed. Just two minutes.

"Beautiful, are trying to see what they want first then leave?" Matt asked.
