Chapter 31

"Who are you people."
"Someone you need to come with," Alex said and tried to grab me by the arm. He has a glass of water in his hand. I moved my hand up and the water flowed out the cup and splashed his face. I ran across the room and pulled Marie away from the guy she was talking to.
"Elina what's wrong?"
"We need to get out of here."

I led us out the room and to the back of the house. There isn't an exit here. I went left and soon enough there was the back door. I pulled Marie along and we are gated inside.
"Here I'll give you a boost first," I said to Marie.
"What about you?"

"Don't worry."
Marie put her foot in my hands. I pushed her up and she hoped over the fence. I shifted into my wolf and took steps back. I ran and leaped over the fence.
"I didn't want you to shift cause you will no longer have clothes on," I said to Marie after I shifted back.
"Do you know where we are?" I asked.
"Not exactly but I was up the whole drive. If we get close to the road I should be able to lead us home."

We started forward and have to walk around the gate.

"Why were you in a hurry?" Marie asked.
"The people I was talking to know who I am. I don't know how though but they were going to try and take me with them somewhere. I wish I didn't have to drag you into this, though I'm sure they would've done something to you just cause you associate with me."
"It's fine Elina, were friends."
"And soon best friends."
Marie and I both walking in the forest holding our dresses up like we were dumped by our dates on prom night.
"So is the pendant working for you?" Marie asked.

"Ya pretty well."

"That would mean I did it right."
"Yup but before we go any farther let link with Rosa and tell her what happen."
"Okay."

I closed my eyes and concentrated on the links of minds. I opened them and looked for Rosa's blue line. Man there is so many. After searching through the lines I think I found hers.

'Rosa?' A couple of seconds passed without a response.

'Elina?'
'Yes. Rosa I need you to tell Carrie that we are heading home, due to some-'

"Elina do you hear that?" Marie asked.
'Due to some things.'
"What did you hear?"
"I believe they came after us." Coming from all directions I heard movement, shuffling.
"Be ready." I said to Marie.

The first Werewolf jumped out growling. On instinct I took a step back, more came out. I looked back at the first wolf that appeared and if wolfs could actually grin they would.

"Don't take another step forward." I warned. I quickly glanced at Marie, her face was composed.
They all growled and when one of them took a step forward, I attacked.

I picked up rock from the ground and smashed into the side of the Werewolf. One jumped and Marie put her hand out and they flew back with a great force. I got pushed down and hit the ground hard. It tried snapping at my face. With all the strength I have I held the neck back and slowly it began to freeze. When stopped moving so much I kicked it off of me. I got up and saw Marie release a huge blast of energy. Werewolves flew and even some of the trees fell. 

One went after Marie. It jumped in the air and right when it opened it's mouth I shot a ball of fire into the opening. I continued it's fly but tumbled around when it hit the floor. Probably realizing how powerful we are, they started to retreat. I'm relieved, no more fighting.

'No.'

'What Angel?'
'They don't have a free card.'
'Huh-?' I shifted into my wolf I have no control. 
'Angel stop. What are you doing?' She sat down with her back straight and head held high.

'No Angel, stop.'

'I'm sorry.'
'Stop!' Angel took a deep breathe and howled. The powerful howl that makes Werewolf ears bleed and kill them with no chance of recovery. It pierced the cold and dark night, I heard whines in the distance and thuds. Angel continued until it was dead silent. When she was done she shifted us back to my human form. I was breathing hard as I was trying to fight Angel but she was to determined. 

"What did you do?" Marie asked.
"I have a piercing howl that affects Werewolves. It makes their ears bleed and kills them, no recovery possible." I turned away from the bodies that lay on the floor and continued walking. Marie soon was walking beside me.

"Are you okay Elina?"
"I didn't want to do it."
"What do you mean?"
"Angel, my wolf. She shifted and took control. I didn't want to kill them like that."
"Your wolf was protecting you. If the went back alive they probably would've brought more wolves and we would definitely be done for."
I sighed and rubbed my neck. What is going on in this world? We made it out the woods and beside the road.

"Marie when did you master that type of magic?" I asked.

"Well the funny thing is that I first tested it on Jordan when he chasing after me. It took a quite lot of energy for the first time doing it but I was able to distance my self from him."
"Well the hobknocker deserved it." If I saw Jordan again I would probably lay a couple punches on him. The rest of the time we walked we were silent. 

A limo then pulled up besides and the window was rolled down. 

"Come children get in the car," Carrie said. I opened the door and got inside, Marie followed after.
"Why are the both of you walking the night? Also your dresses are ripped."
"We were targeted at the party so we left."
"Oh I wish you would've come to me."
"Well we didn't have much time and we didn't want to cause a hassle."
"Who were you targeted by?"
"A guy named Alex and a girl named Ally. I think they might have been siblings."

"I've never heard of those names before."

I wonder if they were part of the wolves we fought against. The rest of the ride was silent. It wasn't uncomfortable cause everyone was deep in thought. Once I saw the Mansion come into view I felt safer every inch we got closer.

Ason opened the door for us and we all got out. I walked straight to my room, the need to take this dress off became stronger. Once I was behind the doors of the room I zipped down the zipper and put the dress on a chair. I changed into a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. I will leave my hair as it is. I pulled the covers back and snuggled underneath them. Then instantly I pushed my mental clock to snooze.
