I woke up, early in the morning, to the sound of laughter and cheering. "Looks like someone's holding another party. How irresponsible..." Pomegranate muttered to herself, gazing out the window. The radiating yellow and red sunrise shone over her face. She glanced back at me, sighing heavily. "I do admit, I do feel partly sorry for you. Yet, I can't. I am a Cookie of Darkness. Not an innocent, distressed human like you..."

Pomegranate perched on the side of the cotton bed, and continued gazing out the window, her eyes fixated upon something. She was gazing at the Licorice sea. It was weird like she expected something to emerge suddenly. Just as I was about to ask what she was watching, the man who I least wanted to see entered the room. I came up with the idea of playing it innocent and seeing if life would turn out any better. Of course, he was a dominant person who liked to be in control. I just had to put on a fake version of myself and hide my true feelings.

"Good morning Darling!" He cheerfully beamed, leaving the door wide open and shoving Pomegranate out the way. "I'm hosting a party downstairs! And you're being invited. Oh and look - I even bought you a suit/dress for you to wear! It'll look amazing on you I'm sure". Affogato shoved some clothes in my face that he'd chosen for me to wear. I didn't want to go, but, playing innocent means you don't admit the truth. I nodded and held my breath.

"Yes, my King," I spoke, avoiding eye contact. I could tell Affogato was shocked at my words, but he smiled in delight. He'd probably been waiting for ages for me to finally call him that. Affogato leant forward and kissed me, as he waved goodbye with a wide grin plastered across his boring face. I was just so sick of seeing it. Pomegranate rolled her eyes and followed behind, daring not to say anything. She was tempted to admit her feelings about this situation, yet she knew the consequences.

I changed into the outfit once they'd left. (For the people who chose suit) The suit I wore was made of the finest materials, leather gloves (Yep, Affogato is a gloves freak who is obsessed with them, a bit like when I do character designs) and a bowtie encrusted with diamonds. (For people who chose dress) The dress I'd put on was a lilac-purple shade, which had a frilly hem at the bottom, white laces on the corset, long ruffled sleeves and white gloves. I combed my hair so it didn't look like my usual bed hair and stared at myself in the mirror: Did I want to do this?...

(Quick Note:)
