"Darling Y/N" - [Affogato x Reader]

Chapter XIII - The Escape

Affogato put me down on the throne as he stood in front of me. The crowd went silent as they watched his actions. He knelt on his knee and pulled something out of his pockets; it was a small leather box. My eyes widened in shock- No...this couldn't be?...

"Y/N...I've loved you for a long time now, ever since the day we first made contact, I've been hopelessly in love with you. All I'm asking for you is to be mine forever..." He smiled, yet with one I'd never seen before. His smile seemed real and true this time as if he had given up on his usual psycho attitude. The crowd anticipated my reaction. Affogato's eye twitched in impatience due to how hesitant I was. He just wanted a good impression, as expected. 

Putting my acting face on, I cried and hugged him tightly: "Yes...I do!". He pulled me close to him and whispered in my ear, "Correct choice darling," A shiver crawled up my spine. I awkwardly nodded and became his puppet. Grabbing my waist, he kissed me in front of the excited crowd. They all cheered for their new leader alongside Affogato. However, not every relationship is as happy as it seems. After the party was over, he dragged me towards his room and locked the door. 

"Now that we are technically married, you'll be sleeping with me." He didn't want any other answers. He took his robes off (He does have underwear on, I ain't gonna be making him nude, maybe at least not, for now, *insert smug grin face* Jk I probably won't. Maybe next series I will since I've decided what it's going to be) and lay beside me. A sense of discomfort was in between us. 

"I don't bite ya know~ Move a bit closer," he spoke, laughing to himself. Instead, Affogato used his snake-like arms to drag me closer. "Much better..." he whispered into my ear. I gulped nervously and waited for his next move. (I swear to god I'm so tempted to write you-know-what here...)

Affogato sighed and kneeled in front of me. I stared at him, frozen to the bed. Sleeping next to him made me already weirded out. I only had known him for less than a week-. I haven't seen Hazel for eternity. He sat me up and pinned me against the wall using his hand, leaving the other free for who-knows-what? Affogato kissed me, using his other hand to grab the back of my hair. Just as he was about to make it 10x worse, a guard rushed into the room. 

"My king! The prisoners have escaped!" The panic-stricken guard exclaimed. 

"Yeah yeah...I'll be out in a second"Affogato scoffed, rolling his eyes and getting up. " Stay there, I'll be back in a bit," This was my opportunity to escape forever - I could finally be free from that psycho king I once loved. I didn't love him to be honest though. He was weird from the start when we first made eye contact. Putting on a black cloak from his wardrobe (which was about a few sizes bigger than me), I hastily climbed out the window. I had to be careful when climbing because all it takes is one wrong move and I'm dead. 

Luckily, I made it out alive. All I needed was to find a shelter far away. Yet, the sky was filled with fog. Due to the harsh weather, I grew hazy and tired within seconds. I felt my feet come to a halt. I blacked out, unaware of how far away I'd gotten...
