In the morning, I sighed a breath of fresh air as I smiled; I was finally free of Affogato's wrath. Or was I?... Arising from my bed, I strolled over to the bookshelf - it was full of Affogato's books that he probably read. Observing each title, I became suddenly intrigued by a book entitled, 'Book of Secrets'. I was curious to know what he was hiding. Opening the book, my eyes widened as I read the first paragraph.

"Dear Diary,                    21st Day of May 2022

I met this beautiful/handsome person named Y/N. In case you're wondering how I know their name, I hired some watchers to spy on them - I now know their favourite food, favourite flower, best friend's name, family members and even their deepest secrets! Like, For that their best-friend Hazel called me sexy. Honestly, I'm glad I look attractive yet she's just so weird and shitty. I can't believe Y/N is friends with her. They deserve better. I'm hoping Y/N thinks I'm good-looking. But to be honest, I couldn't care what they thought of me. All I want is for them to rule the Cacao kingdom with me: I'd treat them like true royalty. I'd get on my hands and knees and beg them to do something. I'd let them choose how to rule. However, if they disobey me and cause a series of drama, I'll have no choice but to punish them severely. I love them truly, and I'm wishing on every shooting star they'd be mine"

Just as I continued to read the next page, I was interrupted by someone opening the door. Dark Cacao stood there, wearing his crown like the true person he is. He walked over to me and peered over my shoulder. I quickly shut the book and anxiously waited. I preferred this to be a secret. Most likely, it would be used against Affogato in court.

"Y/N, would you like to come with me into court and share your opinions on this matter. It would be helpful if you could share anything he used against you, or if he did something disturbing as such. " Dark Cacao calmly spoke, taking the book out of my hands and squinting his eyes at the cover. "Hmm...Book of Secrets...Interesting". Shit. If Affogato found out that I read his diary, he'd put a curse on me. I'm sure of it. Dark Cacao gestured his hand out for me to take it, which I did. He lead me to where the court was taking place. Sighing, I awkwardly stood next to him; the reason it was awkward was that Affogato watched me with shock and disbelief in his eyes. He couldn't believe I turned against him. I mean, I guess what he wrote in the book was true. The judge came in and sat down and asked what had happened.

"This failure of a great leader, Affogato, has violated many rules set by himself. Such as stealing valuables, and stealing the crown from the king - which we believe he attempted to torture and lock up our amazing leader, Dark Cacao to rule the kingdom miserably. He also is believed to have been a threat to poor Y/N, an innocent citizen."Caramel Arrow introduced, as Dark Cacao nudged me, signalling it was my time to speak. I must admit, it was painful to do. Affogato's eyes filled with tears as his vision became blurry; he broke down into tears.

"I- uh...Affogato has done some things to me... like uh...unwanted touching and abusing. He also attempted to threaten me..." I hesitantly spoke, watching Affogato's expression with every word said. He stomped his foot and somehow wriggled free of the guard's grasp. They didn't put handcuffs on him yet, which was a huge mistake. Affogato rushed towards me and whispered in my ear.

"Listen, Darling, before I run away possibly, I just wanted to let you know I love you and that I'll come back....someday". And with that, he rushed out the citadel's gates into the dense forest. That night, everyone kept talking about a criminal on the loose and how they keep hearing things outside the castle's gates. I sighed, gazing out my window. His scent somehow never left the room, which left me anxious. I could've sworn there was someone behind me...
