Armageddon: The Final Battle

                                                   The Final Battle

After our walk Kitana and Sindel go to find Fujin. I remain with Jade until further orders are received. I already know that I'll be leading the charge of our forces. To me this is a grand honor. Leading forces to a battle while being in the front lines. The heat of the battle is what I'm looking forward to. Hopefully my mask or oxygen tank doesn't get damaged. If it does I can no longer promise the safety of everyone around me. If I am entirely consumed with bloodlust I'll be the target that both sides will try their best to kill first before I get everybody. That was an actual order given to our forces. If I am beyond hope I am to be put down like a wild animal.

I obviously don't agree with this order but I don't have much of a choice. I even had to give our forces a demonstration of what to expect when I become filled will bloodlust. The main reason for this is in case my mask or oxygen tank get damaged or even destroyed.

I've noticed that Jade is anxious about this battle. Though I know what she's really eager about. She's anxious to face against Tanya. Ever since she let Shinnok enter Edenia she and everyone else saw her as a major traitor. She also wasn't the only Edenian to betray us. There was also Rain. He might even be related to me but I doubt it since nobody know who his true mother truly is. I will personally see this traitor be put down with my sword being driven inside of his body. Jade and I will make sure these traitors pay dearly. Jade is not one to underestimate because of her cocky attitude. When fighting she is lethal, agile, and beautiful. Her attacks all synchronize like a seductive dance, calling out to me. I'm glad that we are together and have been known around realms to be the deadliest couple there ever was. Somehow we even managed to impress my old enemies and current allies the Lin Kuei. Though she mostly stalks her targets her main tactic is using her arsenal of weapons at her disposal. Of course she'll have to mainly use her weapons in this battle. Unlike me she won't be in the front lines. She'll be around the back of the army.

From the looks of our current forces we seem prepared but deep down everybody is fearing for their own lives but continue to stay determined of our victory. What I never would've expected was that Johnny Cage could recruit all of these people to our cause. For someone as selfish as him nobody would even consider him to be able to have this many for whatever he had said to them. Others would think that someone like Fujin or maybe Kung Lao would be recruiting other warriors.

We are currently making our final preparations before our march. Such as sharpening blades, training, or improving armor. All of these precautions make a difference. Hopefully that is. I don't know how prepared the enemies are. We have only a little while left before the march begins. I should look for Jade. In case things go south (as they say in Earthrealm) I'd best give some last words to her. I KNOW there will be many casualties for both sides. I can't just ignore the fact that she'll be harmed as well. I know there isn't much time to find her but I know where to look. She's either sharpening her razor-rangs or must be near Kitana.

I look for Kitana first and see her alone and ask her if she knows where Jade might be. She told me Jade was at the training ground practicing with her razor-rangs on several targets. She is being watched by several others and she is definitely feeling confident about her precision on the targets. She threw three razor-rangs at the three targets effortlessly and basically killed the targets if they were alive. Once she walks to collect her razor-rangs she notices me and I walk towards her.

"Jade. I want to talk to you about...us. I worry for your safety in this battle." I tell her.

"You shouldn't worry over me." She places her right hand on my face and slowly makes her way to my hair and begins to stroke my hair.
