Mortal Kombat: The Road to Armageddon

Chapter 12

Chapter Twelve

We arrive by the beach to find the bodies of the Black Dragon men who were sent to kill me. Everybody is looking at the bodies. Bugs have swarmed the corpses here, and the stench is causing some to go nauseous and have to step back from them. Kano seems surprised to see his men dead. He grows furious and he looks directly at me. He walks over to me angrily.

"You killed my men!" He shouts directly in my face.

"Shouldn't have sent them after me in the first place." I reply practically asking for a fight from him. He looks at me angrily with his one eye.

"I'm gonna gut ya' for that!" Shang Tsung arrives and sees Kano yelling at me.

"A challenge!" Everybody turns to see where the fight is. "Kano! Versus Kana!" I ready my combat stance and await the fight.

"If you're going to send men out for me to kill, at least make it enjoyable." I say with a smirk. 

"You're gonna be a great example as to why you don't fuck with the Black Dragon!" He lunges towards me. I dodge but he decides to quickly turn and tries to punch me. I block his attack by holding his hand. I use my elbow to bash into the side of his elbow, and then slam my elbow on his nose. His nose is already bleeding a bit. He wipes of the blood with his hand. Blood. As soon as I saw his blood I charged at him. I grab him and knee him in the stomach a few times. He coughs up some blood. I can now smell his blood. I breathe it in, and let my power take place. I then pull him towards me. I punch him repeatedly all over. His face, his stomach, chest, jaw, head, until he can no longer stand still. As he's wobbling, I walk up to him and finish him off with a spin kick to the face. He falls to the ground, some blood spilling onto the sand. I focus for a few seconds, and my bloodlust dissipates.

"Excellent Kana! You're next challenger shall be Sareena!"

As I step back from Kano's body I see Sareena. I look at my opponent and see that it's a woman. She doesn't seem to have any intention on winning, but to kill. She wears light clothing some bracers on her arms and has a sword, that has serrations, as she places it inside her sheath. She has tattoos on her face which are both identical. Two tattoos. They begin around her forehead and go down all the way beside her lips. They are black but don't seem like they were put on. Her tattoos seem more like a marking. To distinguish something about her that's for sure. She also has identical tattoos on both arms. Though they are different from the ones on her face they do match the same symbol that is on the lower part of her clothing. She has short hair with a white streak at the front part of her hair. The rest of her hair is black.

"Kano is nothing compared to me. I will be a real challenge for you!" Sareena says confidently.

"We'll see about that now, won't we?"

She grabs her weapon and I grab my sword. She runs up and begins swinging. I parry all attacks. After a while we both swing at the same time and our weapons clash. We begin to push each other and hold our weapons. She then knees my stomach and then she does a flip followed by a kick to my face sending me to the ground. I dropped the sword and have no defense against her weapon. She laughs as she sees I dropped my sword. She walks closer to me. When she gets near enough I plant my foot into the sand and drag my foot in a semicircle causing a small sand cloud to go in the air. She looks away so she doesn't get anything in her eyes. I can see her shadow through this and I charge at her seeing that the cloud of sand is nearing her. I tackle her, making her weapon drop. I get up and look for my weapon. It's far behind her and there's no way I can reach it. As she gets up she looks away from me. I don't see what she was looking at, to not lose my focus on her. As I draw closer, she looks back at me and seems to have fire in her fists. She launches at me very quickly. I couldn't even anticipate that she would attack this fast. She had hit me in the chest and then grabbed my head with her still flaming hands, feeling the heat on my head and brought it to her rising knee. She hit me square on the nose. If I'm bleeding this will certainly help. I close my eyes and inhale deeply. I open my eyes exhaling. My bloodlust has reactivated. She tries to kick me but I grab her leg and sweep her other leg dropping her. She quickly gets up but I make sure to keep her down. She tries and tries to attack. Now all of her attacks are futile. I mount her, and assault her with a fury of punches. She is tiring and slowing down in trying to block me. I get off of her, and she slowly rises from the ground. She is bleeding a bit from her lip and won't move. I do one final combo on her. Two punches to her gut, an uppercut to the jaw and a kick to her chest and she's down. I've beaten two opponents already. I look at Shang Tsung he is talking to the bald man.
