Chapter Two

After high school was over the thing I thought about the most was that I'm finally free. I can do whatever I please. So from then on I decided to train for the rest of my life up until it was time to prepare for the tournament. About 6 years after high school the tournament had been announced to only the greatest fighters of the world and possibly of other dimensions as my mother informed of. I was glad that I could be rid of this life away from this, so called family. They always argue with one another, pay no attention to the whore daughter they raised and throw parties like it's their final days. I couldn't wait to leave this place.

My so called parents would always yell at me for past actions. In school I would always get into trouble since my main focus was the tournament and training I never had friends or got along with anybody. Some students thought it was a good idea to pick on me and bully me. Boy did they choose wrong. All the times I was in trouble, was because of violence. I was a calm and quiet student until I was provoked to defend myself from these weaklings. They don't even have proper training how would they expect to know how to even fight correctly? The first time this happened I was in "10th Grade".

As I was sitting along the lunch table alone eating a group of five students walked up to me and said, " You think you're so smart huh? Just cuz you're the smartest in the school doesn't mean you're smart enough to know that whoever is the smartest does my work for me or else." I stared back, unintimidated. " Or else what? What can you weaklings do that will possibly threaten me?" I responded. The boy got angry and threw my food off the table. "Do my work or else your food won't be the only thing on the floor." I look at the food, then back at him, not impressed."You're gonna intimidate me by throwing my food on the floor? I feel so scared. Am I supposed to do what you want now?" He snapped and grabbed my shirt raising a fist at me. "See this? I'm gonna punch you if you don't do what I say." I chuckled a little. "Try me." I whispered to him. As he was about to swing I stopped the punch with one hand. Startled he decided to swing with the other.  I stopped that one too and then I jumped and kicked him in the jaw. He fell back a bit surprised and then he asked all of them to help him take me on. Idiots I thought. I went into my stance and prepared for these weaklings. The first kid wanted to grab me from behind but I slammed his face into the bench and he fell down clenching his jaw. The next kid wanted to punch me but I countered with a kick to his crotch. He laid there breathless. The other two kids ran while the final one who caused all of this is now confused. As I got closer to him he decided to start begging for forgiveness. I ignored his pleas and raised him by his shirt and punched him in the stomach repeatedly until his blood splattered on my face. The feeling of his warm blood splashing upon my face. Oh it was an amazing feeling, as it started to drip down across my face. This was also my first bloodlust. A moment I won't soon forget. I guess going to school did have a way of entertaining myself. The other times were less violent than this and far more boring. From that day I was sent to juvie because of what I did. I also remember the police officers who brought me in. At the time I lived in New York. A fancy city that's very overpopulated. I was taken by the NYPD. The officers were Kurtis Stryker a special kind of officer. He is the leader of the Special Riot Control division though his attire makes him look differently than most cops uniforms. The other was his partner, he was simply called Kabal. Though Kabal used to be an ex criminal now reformed. On some occasions I did get to hear some of the stuff he used to do in order to scare me, but I was just more and more intrigued of the ways he'd kill. I eventually was released from juvie, but not before meeting them and having a talk with them. It was an interesting experience meeting them though little did I know I was going to seem them later on in my life but not as a criminal but as the "Defenders Of The Realm".
