"HEY, LEUNI. The teacher's calling you."

Bumalik ako sa katwiran ko nang bumulong sa 'kin si Harrispanget. Pagbalik ko sa reyalidad ay nakita ko sa harap ko si Mrs. Diamente na halos magkadikit ang dalawang kilay dahil sa pagkakasalubong.

"Ms. Herrera! I've been calling you a million times! Saan na naman ba lumilipad ang utak mo!?" Sigaw ni Mrs. Diamente sa'kin at halos masira eardrums ko.

"Sorry po, Mrs. Diamente." Nasabi ko nalang.

"Sorry!? Aba, wala nga kayong pinagkaiba ng kaibigan mong pasaway! Pero may pinagkaiba kayo dahil iyong kaibigan mo, nako! Napakapasaway! Sumasagot ba naman sa matatanda!" Angil nito. Sa sobrang lakas ay wala ni-isa sa'min ang gustong magsalita.

"Sorry for interrupting, Mrs. Diamente but base on my observation, Ma'am, Leuni was distracted about our project in Science. And it makes it more challenging since the twins were absent in two days and we really needed their help."

I looked at Harris who was blank and emotionless explaining to Mrs. Diamente. Nakataas pa din ang isa niyang kilay habang nakikinig kay Harris.

"Okay, Mr. Hendrickson. " Pag irap nito. Nagsimula na ulit siyang mag-discuss.

"Thank you." Bulong ko sakanya habang ang atensyon ay nasa harap. Nag-"tss" lang siya sa 'kin pero imbes na mainis ay ngumiti nalang ako.

"HOY, mali naman 'yang ginawa mo 'e!"

"How would you say that?"

"Hindi mo naman tinatype yung sinasabi ko sayo 'e!"

"Tss."

We're here in the Sunken Garden and we're looking forward to it. It's lunch time and we decided to do the project while eating to reduce what we have to do.

"Harris, ulitin mo 'to!" I yelled at him while pointing at his laptop. He ignored me and continued reading the Sherlock Holmes book. "You didn't even tell me where to buy that and now you don't want to do it again." I whispered to myself.

"Tss. You're too noisy, babe."

I was silent when he called me that way. I felt something in my stomach. Maybe my stomach has worms? Omyghad I hope there is nothing.

Walang nagsalita pagkatapos no'n. I decided to break the silence because I can't suddenly lose my passion because of that, like duh? what is he ba?

"H-hoy, mali nga kasi! Ulitin mo yan, bwisit ka ha!" Inis na singhal ko pagkatapos matauhan.

"Tss."

He stood up so I stood up too. He put away the books and laptop he was carrying and walked away. I immediately chased after him.

"Hoy! Harris!" Sigaw ko pero nagpatuloy lang siya sa paglalakad. Nakarating kami sa parking lot pero hindi niya pa din ako nililingon habang hinahabol at tinatawag ko naman siya.

I gasped for breath when he finally stopped in front of a car. Out of breath, I approached and glared at him, but instead of paying attention to me, he ignored me and opened the car.

Really?

I don't know much about car brands, only Yanki knows because she's smart. But of course, all I know is that it's a Porsche. That's it. I'm smart, right?

"This is your car?" tanong ko habang nasa loob siya at kinakausap ko siya sa labas ng kotse. Tinignan niya ko na parang sinasabing 'hindi ba obvious?' look. He motioned for me to ride but I raised an eyebrow at him and looked at him as if to say 'why should I ride? Who are you?' look.

"Hop in." sambit niya.

"At bakit naman?" pilosopong tanong ko.

"We will go to an amusement park."

Nag dalawang isip pako but I immediately got in the car, of course because of what he said. I don't care what people see or think as long as I can go to the amusement park.

"Ano pang hinihintay mo? Pasko? Nako, 'wag mo nang hintayin. Mabobore--"

What I was about to say was cut off when he started his car so fast that I screamed.

"WAAAAAAHHHH!!!! AYAW KO PA MAMATAY, I'M STILL A VIRGIN PERO SORRY SA MGA LAHAT NG KASALANAN KO LORD SANA MAPATAWAD MO 'KO AYAW KO PA MAMATAY MAY MGA ANAK PA 'KO—"

Prumeno siya kaya nauntog ako sa bintana. Sisigawan ko sana siya but he chuckled and talk.

"Shut up, babe. We're already here." May ngisi yun dahil ata sa sinabi ko. I thought I'm going to die.

Umirap ako sakaniya at nag sign of the cross at tahimik nag dasal.

He chuckled again. "Hmm, kelan ka pa nag ka anak, babe? I thought ako lang."

Natahimik ako sa pagtawag niya sa 'kin at sa sinabi niya sa huli. Ewan ko ba kung bakit gano'n nalang ang epekto sa'kin ng endearment niya sa 'kin.

Pero sumagot padin 'ko.

"Matagal na!" At naunang bumaba. Nahihiya sa mga sinabi ko kanina. Argh.
