Fire: Chapter 9

(Dally's POV)

Its been four days since Y/N, Johnny, and Ponyboy went to hide at the church.

I'm on my way to the church right now.

I don't think I've ever been so eager to see my little sister.

When I pulled up to the church I went around the back and walked in.

Johnny was sleeping a bench by himself.

Y/N and Ponyboy we're laying down on a different bench cuddling. She was laying with her head on his chest and her arms around his neck. He had his arms wrapped around her back with one hand resting on the small of her back. The other hand within her hair.

I decided I was going to wake up Johnny first.

"Johnny... Johnny cakes!" I whispered into his ear.

He jumped up and almost screamed. Then he realized it was just me.

"Hey Dal! I was starting to thing you'd never come!" He whisper yelled before he hugged me tight. For a bit I thought he'd never let go.

"Aww. Look at them. They're so cute together. Ponyboy makes her really happy Dal." Johnny told me.

"I know. Hey watch this." I said as I kneeled down to whisper in both Y/N and Ponyboy's ears.

"WAKE UP!" I yelled.

As soon as I said it, they both fell off the bench onto the floor.

(Y/N's POV)

I woke up with someone yelling in my ear.

It scared me to death.

Both Pony and I fell off of the bench we were sleeping on.

I fell straight on the ground and he fell on top of me.

"Well hello there!" Ponyboy said whilst wiggling his eyebrows at me.

"Disgusting." A familiar voice said.

I had registered in my head that it was Dally.

I squealed and pushed Pony away.

"DALLAS!" I yelled

I jumped up and hugged him. He was talking to Pony and Johnny. I wasn't listening.

All I was listening to was the sound of Dally's heartbeat against my ear.

I was so happy to see him.

In his arms I felt safe again. I felt like nothing could ever happen to me.

"Y'all hungry?" Dally asked.

"Yes!" We all replied in sync.

{Time Skip}

When we got to Dairy Queen the boys all got burgers, but I got a milkshake, fries, and chicken strips.

I was sitting in the back with Ponyboy. Johnny and Dal were up front.

Some little girl came up to us asking for some change, but Dally told her to get lost.

"Dall I'm gonna turn myself in" I blurted out

"What?!" Dally replied in shock.

"I'm doing it, I'm turning myself in and your not gonna stop me. Can we go back to the church real quick to get our stuff?" I asked.

"Sure. Fine" Dally replied in an annoyed tone.

When we got to the church it was on fire.

I had hear the people there saying that there were kids in the church.

Before I knew it I had jumped out of the car and ran into the church

I heard Dallas yelling for me to come back but I didn't listen.

Soon enough Ponyboy and Johnny had come too.

We were helping the kids out of the window, when one bit me.

Out of reflex I yelled and slapping her slightly not hard though, but she didn't cry so i assumed it was fine.

Once all the kids were out Pony got out of the window and tried to help be, but Johnny was still in there and I had to help him.

Me and Johnny were on our way to the window when I hear a beam break.

I looked up and saw it falling right for us.

Johnny was right under where it would fall.

"JOHNNY MOVE!" I yelled before I ran and tackled him.

"Are you okay Johnny?"

"Yeah, Y/N/N, I'm fine. Just scraped my knee when you tackled me.

"Hurry up we gotta get out of here."

When we got out of the window Dally immediately started yelling at me, but I wasn't listening.

I saw Ponyboy passed out on the grass.

I ran to his side trying to wake him up.

After a few minutes two ambulances pulled up.

One took Pony and I.

The other took Johnny and Dal.

After a while Pony woke up asking a bunch of questions. Then he noticed that I was sitting right next to him.

"Y/N! Are you alright?" Ponyboy asked

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just some minor burns."

"Where are Johnny and Dal?"

"They're in the other ambulance."

When we got to the hospital Pony and I were sitting in the chairs while Dallas went to get some food from the hospital cafeteria and Johnny was taken into a hospital room because he had gotten some second degree burns that needed to be taken care of.

Aside from that Johnny was alright and he'd be released either tonight or tomorrow morning.

Sodapop and Darry had came in and they were hugging Ponyboy.

All the sudden I see Two-Bit running down the hallway.

When he saw me he picked me up and hugged me spinning me around.

"I was gonna go to Texas to look for y'all" Two-Bit said

"Why?" I asked

"Your my best friend Y/N. Hell your practically my sister." He replied

"Well actually she's my sister, but I guess we can share." Dally cut in chuckling.

After a while we went home.

It felt nice to be back in my room at Buck's and sleep on my bed.

After a while I decided to go to bed since Dal and I had to wake up early tomorrow and get Johnny from the Hospital.

Dally decided that he wasn't going to tell Johnny go home anymore. Dal said that Johnny was either gonna share a room with me or with him.
