Chapter 2 || the suprise

"What is it?" I asked them

"Its big news so don't go crazy!" Anna told me.

"Okay I promise," I said. No I won't promise I'm gonna freak out I know it!

"We are......" danny said while pausing

"PREGNANT!" Anna said.

"OMG REALLY! IM GONNA BE AN AUNT/TIA!" I asked while already knowing the answer to my own question.

"Yup!" They told me.

"Wow does mom and my dad know?" I asked

"Yes we told them before you," Anna said.

Wow I have to tell my friends....oh wait I dont have any but when I do get some ill tell them!

They left my room.

I squealed into my pillow of excitement.

Danny walks into my room again.
"Oh and have fun tomorrow!"

"Oh where are you going?"

"To go to get an ultrasound and we aren't gonna be home when you leave", he told me.

"Oh okay!"

*the next day*
8:45 a.m

I get get up and Danny and Anna aren't home. So I go and eat breakfast.

"Okay mom I'm leaving! Bye!" I grab my extra ball, mit, and bat.

"Okay be careful mija! I love you!"

"I know. love you too!"

I wall towards the dirt field and saw the boys there.

I walk towards them. And put my mit on just in case

A ball starts heading towards me.

"WATCH OUT!" the boys yell.

I catch it.

"Woah", I hear them saying.
"Isn't that a girl?"
"Did she really catch it?" They all said many things in shock.

I throw the ball to them.

"Wait" one of the boys said to everyone.

That voice sounds familiar..?

"Y/n?" Someone says to me.

"Yeah-yeah?"

"Yeah yeah its me," yeah-yeah said

Yeah-yeah was my best friend from 4th grade but then he moved the next year.

I hug yeah-yeah

"I've missed you yeah-yeah!"

"I missed you too y/n!"

"Hey you guys!" Yeah-yeah said. "This is my old best friend, y/n, from Colorado!" He told everyone.

Everyone said hi.

"She's really good at baseball!" Yeah-yeah told the boy that I saw walking by the other day.

"Hey," he told me. "Im Benny! And you must be y/n y/l/n. The best friend that yeah-yeah would always talk abt,"

"Yup I'm y/n," I said.

"You wanna play with us?" Benny asked me.

"Oh yeah sure!" I tell him.

"Oh um and first let me introduce you to everyone," benny and yeah-yeah said.

I nodded my head as an okay.

Benny introduced me to everyone.

"Let's play ball" DeNunez said

Benny hits a home run and your trying to get the ball cuz it went over the fence.

"I'll get it!" You exclaimed.

"NO STOP!" Everyone says.

You climb the fence.

Benny grabs you by the waist and takes you off the fence.

"Put me down!!!" You yelled at Benny.

"Sorry,"

"Do not ever go over that fence," Yeah yeah told me.

"Why??"

"The beast," everyone says.

"CAMP OUT!" Everyone says.

"Not this again!" Smalls says in an annoyed tone.

《Time skip》
You just got home and walked inside.

"Hey mom hey dad guess who I just saw today!" You told your parents.

"Who?" Your parents asked.

"Yeah-yeah!" You exclaimed.

"Really!?! Wow!"

"Yeah, but also I have a question," you told them

"What is it?"

"Can I go to a sleepover with my friends?"

"Are there going to be boys other than yeah-yeah?" Your dad asked

"Yes"

"Then no"

"What!? You have to let me go!"

"No means no!"

Danny butted in "cmon let her go! She just got her friends and she wants to have fun so let her!"

"Okay fine!" Your dad sighed.

"YAY, THANK YOU DANNY!"

"Your welcome and you owe me one!"

"Okay," you said while running up the stairs.

《Time skip to you walking out of the house》

You walk out the house and see Benny waiting for you.

"Oh hey benny! You didn't have to wait for me," you tell him.

"I know I just thought I would since we are neighbors," he said while kinda laughing.

Benny's pov: °•○⚾️○•°
Wow she so pretty I thought in my mind

Ack what am I thinking! She most likely doesn't like me back I sighed put loud for y/n to hear.

"Earth to benny!" She says while trying to get my attention

"Oh sorry I zoned out," I told her.

"Oh okay," she replied back to me.

Y/ns pov: °•○♡○•°
I got to the sandlot and walked I to the tree house.

"Hey guys," I said while looking around at everyone.

"HI Y/N!" Yeah-yeah said to me while everyone else just waved

I laughed to myseld because it was so quiet when I walked in.

"Hey y/n can I talk to you outside?" Yeah-yeah asked me.

"Okay!" I answered him.

We walked outside to the balcony.

"I heard someone here likes you!"

"Really!?" I asked

"Yeah yeah!" He said.

"Who?" I asked, while hoping he would tell me.

"I can't say!" He told me.

"THEN WHY WOULD YOU TELL ME, YOU DINGUS!" I laughed and hit him in the back of the head.

"OW!"

"Let's go back inside the tree house!" I tell him.
