You, your mom, your dad, your brother, and his girlfriend are moving to California from Colorado.
Your pov:
"Omg we are here. Yay," I say Sarcastically to everyone in the car. I sighed quietky but then I saw some boys talking to some other boys. It looked like they were fighting. Some boys had normal street wear and the other ones had jerseys and were on bikes.
"Hey, y/n! You okay?" My brothers girlfriend says. Her name is Adrianna but we call her Anna for short.
"Oh yeah I'm fine!" I said. "I just saw some kids playing baseball,"
"You should go after we are done unpacking" she says.
I smile "Yeah I should! Well it is my favorite sport anyways."
Authors pov:
You got home finally and unpacked. You walk back outside to get something from your moms car. You see a boy, and its one of the boys that you saw at the field. He says hi by nodding up. You wave at him and smile.
"Who was that?" Your brother, Daniel asks.
"Oh, hey Danny, I think it was our neighbor, I saw him at the field we passed by," you said.
"Hmph, okay, well mom said it's time for dinner," he stated.
You nod and walk inside with your brother. You look back at the road and sigh.
*At dinner*
Your pov:
I sat done in front of my plate of spaghetti.
"How do you guys like the house?" My mom asked while breaking the silence.
"Its nice!" We all replied at the same time.
My brothers dad died when he was 6 so we don't have the same dad. But my dad is like another dad to him.
"Y/n saw a baseball field on the way here," Anna stated.
I nudged her telling her to shut up. "Um I was gonna ask if I could go play tomorrow?" I asked kinda stuttering.
"Oh uh yeah I guess so, but as long as you make friends," My dad says.
"Yess! Thank you dad!" I said to him.
I got up amd put my plate in the sink and ran up the stairs to my room to go get my clothes ready for tomorrow. I hear a knock on the door.
"Come in!" I yelled while picking clothes out of my closet.
My brother and his girlfriend walk in happily. "We have something to tell you.." your brother said while still smiling.
