Chapter 8 || Bat to the Face

Y/ns pov: °•○♡○•°
I woke up with my arms wrapped around Benny. I quickly went let go of him.

"Good morning y/n," Benny said to me.

"Good morning Benny," I said while yawning.

"We should head to the sandlot," I said quickly before he mentions me hugging him while we were sleeping.

"Yeah your right," he said.

I put on my clothes that I washed last night and I quickly started running out the house then I remembered, "Oh shit, what about my mitt??" I asked Benny.

"Oh uhm here's my extra one," he said while throwing it to me.

We got to the sandlot and saw the boys practicing. Yeah-yeah was looking at me like he was sorry but I just ignored him.

"Hey y/n?" Yeah-yeah said while coming up to me.

"What do you want," I sighed.

"I just wanted to say, I'm sorry and that it was my fault that all that happend yesterday," he said apologizing. "And your not a psycho bi- girl dog..," he said.

"Oh okay... I except your apology!" I said to him.

"Thank you," he said.

"Mhm," i replied to him.

"Oh my god..." i said while sighing.

"Not again,"  Smalls sighs.

"So how are you pretty girl," Phillips says while getting off his bike and walking over to me.

"Leave me alone," I said.

"Why should I?" Asked Phillips.

I grabbed the bat and walked closer to him. "I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE!" I yelled  while swinging the bat towards his face.  It hit his face and he has a bloody nose now.

"OOOH" said all the boys.

"She said go away, so stay away," said Benny while holding my hand and I flipped Phillips off.

"That was awesome y/n!" Squints yelled.

"Yeah it was but I hope I don't get in trouble or anything," I said.

"Yeah your right, but let's play ball," Benny said while cleaning the blood off the bat.

You guys went to your house to go swim since the pool was closed for some reason.

"Alright guys ima go change into my swimsuit and then I'll be right out," you said.

"Okay," everyone said.

You quickly run up to your room and change.

"Alright guys! The pool is in the back," you told them while running down the stairs. All the boys ran quickly and jumped in the pool but Benny waited for you. The boys went outside and didn't even notice your brother and Anna outside barbecuing.

"Oh hey Danny, hey Anna," you said while quickly letting go of Benny's hand. Your brother and his gf know that you have a boyfriend but you think they don't so you plan on telling them sooner or later.

"So y/n, is that your boyfriend," Danny asks you and Anna is smirking at you.

"Uhm , actually yeah," you said while blushing.

"Okay nice to meet you again..uh benny, right?" said Danny.

"Yup," they shake hands.

"Alright let's go swimming, Benny!" You tell him while dragging him outside.

You wall back inside real quick and pointed your fingers from your eyes to danny and Anna because you already know that they will do something stupid.

*outside*
"Cmon y/n! Get in," yeah-yeah says.

"Yeah y/n! Come on!" Benny says while trying to drag you down into the water.

"Alright hold on," you say while you feel something drag you into the water. It was Benny.

"Oh no you didn't!" You said while trying to attack Benny. Everyone laughs and you laugh too.

Later everyone goes home and you lay on your bed and fall asleep right away because you want to play baseball already. :D
