Chapter 14 || Denial

After you guys played baseball for a while you decided to sit down in the dugout out for a while.

"Hey you okay?" Yeah-yeah asked you.

"Oh yeah....it's just.....it's just that.... my parents... well they...," I couldn't say it but I think Yeah-yeah got the message.

"Oh my gosh.....y/n I'm so so sorry," he said.

"Its... it's ok, really. But I just don't know what to do," I said.

A couple minutes later the boys ended the game and strated walking home. Benny waited for you so you guys could walk home together.

Once you guys got to your house he said goodbye and kissed you know he cheek then ran home.

~later that night~

I woke up at 2 a.m and couldn't go back to sleep. I decided to take a walk to the sandlot.

I looked out my window to see y/n walking by herself. I was also awake because my mom barely got home from work and I usually wait for her to get home just incase.

I decided to follow y/n. Just to make sure she doesn't get hurt.

I ran behind her but also made sure she didn't see me. We walked to the sandlot and I hid behind a bush.

She picked up a bat and a ball that had been left there since earlier that day. She kept practicing and practicing. Until she just broke down into tears.

She threw the bat and fell to the floor. But right before she got to the floor I ran to her and hugged her.

She just cried into my shoulder. And I just calmed her.

"Its okay, hermosa. It's okay..."

I walked her home from the sandlot.

"Can we stay at your house instead?" She asked me.

"Yeah let's go," I said while grabbing her hand.
