Chapter 9 || School

2 months pass and school starts and you got a very special surprise.

"Omg y/n!" Your best friend says while running up to you on the first day of school.

"SOPHIA! I thought you stayed in Colorado?!" You yelled.

Woah she's kinda pretty, ah what am I thinking, I thought.

"Yeah-yeah? Helloo are you there?" Someone says.

I snapped out of it then I realized Ham and Squints were standing in front of me.

"Oh sorry I zoned out," I told them.

"Oh so your saying that you zoned out while looking at y/ns best friend?" Squints asked me.

"Oh I didn't notice I was looking at her," I sighed while scratching the back of my head.

"Hey guys this is my best friend Sophia! She moved to Colorado a month after I did apparently!" Y/n told us.

"Oh um hi," Sophia says. "So which one of you is y/ns boyfrienddd!"

I turn around at Benny and I point at him, the other boys do that too.

"Ah so your the lucky boy y/n was talking about, hmm, you are as cute as a y/n says," she tells Benny while inspecing him carefully.

Y/ns pov:
Oh my god, what is she doing!? I thought to myself.

"Okay okay, leave him alone already," I said while grabbing Sophia away from Benny.

Benny gave me a small thank you by smiling at me. And I smiled back, returning the gesture.

We then all head to our first class.

*at lunch*
I see all the boys sitting around Sophia and Yeah-yeah.

"Come on! Just kiss already!" I hear Squints saying.

I walk up to them and ask "uhm what's going on?"

"So basically Yeah-yeah told Sophia that he likes her, and Sophia like him back and Squints and Ham are trying to make them......kiss," Smalls tells me while scrunching his nose

"What.....the...," I say under my breath.

I go to the table to sit down and eat.
"Come on guys! Leave them alone and eat your food already!" I tell them.

"But we wanna-," Squints says but I cut him off.

"Making them uncomfortable?" I ask.

"No that's not- it's just-," Squints stutters.

"Oh come on Squints, it is getting kind of annoying," Bertram says.

"Yeah," they all say, except Ham and Squints.

Squints eventually stops and the rest of the day goes by fast.

We go to the sandlot and Sophia goes with us. She doesn't play with us but she watches and cheers us on, mostly Yeah-yeah.

After the game we all decided to hang out at the treehouse because why not,

I hope this is good enough for part 9 cuz I'm starting to lose ideas but I also might make another story but not based on sandlot or any movie and stuff, but yeah, part 10 coming soon! -Robin <3
