Odessa was sprawled across the couch. Riverdale played in the background as Odessa snored peacefully, or not so peacefully to Melanie and Owen. Melanie sighed, placing her AirPods in once more. She was trying to read the second book of The Summer I Turned Pretty series, but Odessa's snores had made it impossible to concentrate.
"I'm going to throw a pillow at her." Owen commented from his spot on the couch. He was squished to the last seat, but refused to move.
"Owen, don't." Melanie warned with the quirk of her brow. Waking Odessa from a nap was never a good idea, especially when it was Owen who was doing the waking.
