Part 32

Niki and Jungwon both reached there quickly as Jungwon scooted out of the seat and headed towards the entrance of the bustling hospital.

Niki quickly also scrambled out of the car and caught up with Jungwon.

Niki:"Jungwon! Let's calm down okay, he'll be alright"

Jungwon turned around, with tears threatening to spill from his eyes, but he didn't dare to, he didn't want to break down infront of Niki.

Jungwon:"How will he be alright?! He's in hospital Niki, that's of course serious!"

Niki sighed and pulled Jungwon into a tight hug.

He soothingly rubbed his back, calming him down.

Niki:"Jungwon, it's okay, let's go in first calmly, don't worry, Sunoo is by his side, plus do you want me to call my friends to come over as well?"

Jungwon thought about it. He did want more company, so he nodded while pulling Niki into another hug.

Jungwon:"Thank you for being there for me"

Niki softly smiled and ran his fingers through Jungwon's hair.

Niki:"Anything for you babe"

He then swiftly takes out his phone and dials Jay's number.

Niki:"Jay hyung, I need you to come to xxxxxxx hospital! Heeseung hyung is there"

Jay:"What the hell?! What happened to him?"

Niki:"I'm not too sure yet but hurry up, plus bring the others with you"

Jay:"Sure thing, I'll be here with the others soon"

Niki:"Thanks hyung"

End of phone call

Niki smiled and held Jungwon's hands, gently caressing them.

Niki:"Lets go in?"

Jungwon nodded as the two boys entered, staying calm.

Soon, they got the room number and met Sunoo, who was outside of the room, playing with his fingers nervously.

His eyes then turn into reassurance after seeing both Niki and Jungwon heading towards him.

Sunoo:"Guys, you came!"

Jungwon looked at Sunoo with a tensed up face.

Jungwon:"What happened to hyung?"

Niki reassuringly wrapped his arms around Jungwon's waist, rubbing it in a soothing, circular motion.

Sunoo:"Jungwon, he just fainted out of no where!"

Jungwon nodded, taking all the information in.

Why would he just faint randomly?

Jungwon closed his eyes, and tried to reassure himself, but suddenly, he feels his heartbeat getting unusually fast.

Oh shit, this can't be happening

He knew that he would start coughing out blood any minute, as he felt his stomach churning and a stinging sensation was present.

He quickly rushed to the bathroom, holding his stomach tightly.

Niki eyes widened as he saw Jungwon running into the distance. Of course, without second thoughts, he quickly followed, leaving a worried Sunoo.

Sunoo:"Oh great, now both of my friends are sick"

He sat feeling all guilty that he can't do anything for his friends. Suddenly, he heard a couple of shouts in the distance.

Jay and all the other boys had come running towards him.

Sunoo smiled, happy that everyone was here to comfort Heeseung.

Jay:"Hey Sunoo, how's Heeseung?"

Sunoo cleared his throat.

Sunoo:"First of all, it's Hyung for you, and second of all, he's still getting treated"

Jay sheepishly smiled.

Jay:"Right, Heeseung hyung"

Sunghoon was panting hard.

Sunghoon:"Geez, I haven't ran this fast since primary."

Jay smacked the back of his head, calling him out.

Jay:"Liar, you never run!"

Sunghoon dramatically gasped.

Sunghoon:"Excuse me! I literally had to run 400 metres in sports day, and I won 1st place! Imagine how I fast I had been to win first place idiot"

Jay then says "Ohhh" as he remembers the incident, he then embarrassingly apologises to Sunghoon.

Meanwhile...

Jungwon slams the bathroom door open and rushes to the sink, immediantly coughing up alot of blood, leaving him feeling slightly weak.

Unfortunately, Niki had also entered, witnessing the whole thing.

His eyes were now glossy, as he questioningly looks up at Jungwon, who's eyes are in shock after seeing Niki witnessing the whole thing.

Jungwon:"N-niki--"

Niki immediantly grabs a tissue and wipes Jungwon's mouth, not wanting to see the crimson, red blood around his mouth.

Jungwon shut his eyes slowly, knowing that he's gonna have tell him now or never.

Jungwon:"Niki..."

Niki was already sniffling, throwing away the tissue.

Niki:"Wonnie, why's there blood? Why are you coughing up blood? Are you sick too?"

All these innocent questions almost made Jungwon breakdown right there.

Jungwon:"Listen Niki, today, it's about Heeseung hyung, so let's go back and we can sort it out later--"

Niki objects as both his hands grips onto Jungwon's shoulders.

Niki:"N-no! Tell me now, why are you coughing up blood! That's not normal"

Jungwon looked down, in guilt. He should have told Niki earlier, so that he wouldn't pain him, but now, it was too late.

Jungwon eyes teared up and Niki was already decorating his face with tears that were just falling and falling, like a loop.

Jungwon shakily touches Niki's face and tried to wipe his tears, but only more fell. Niki was now bawling his eyes out, his hair was all messy, his face was now a reddish color.

Jungwon apprehensively looks at Niki's state.

It's all because of me... because of me, he's in pain, he's crying...all because of me...
