I woke up to a very loud knocking, I sat up and got up to go answer the door. I got to the door and opened it, I saw Mr. Stark and a bunch of men behind him. I smiled at him and he smiled back.
"Hello Mr.Stark i totally forgot you were going to come by, sorry." i said
"Please call me Tony, and no problem, just pack all your cloths and necessary stuff you need in a suitcase and these men will take care of the rest." he said
He signaled the men to start, I nodded and walked over to my bedroom and started grabbing all of my things that I would most likely need. Tony walked inside my room and was looking around. He stopped at a picture of my family.
"This your family." he asked
"Yeah, that's my mom, dad and twin brothers." i said
"Where do they live?" he asked
"Oh they live in Canada, I left to come to a college that accepted me here in New York. I was sad when I did but I am here to make my dream come true so it's not all that bad." i said and smiled
"So what is it that you want to make the dream that you came here for?" he asked
"I came here to be a criminologist, I always really liked that since I was a kid. I always find it so interesting." i said
He nodded and walked around the room while I got the rest of my things gathered up. I grabbed my charging cord and put it in my bag as the last thing. I gave Tony a thumbs up. He nodded and we started walking out of the apartment. We reached the elevator and waited for it to come up. The elevator doors opened and we went inside of the elevator. We stood there, it was a bit awkward to just be standing next to the playboy, millionaire who also happens to be Iron Man. I did my research on him a few hours before. The doors opened to the main lobby and we walked out and went to his car. I opened the trunk and put my things in. I shut it and went to the passenger door and opened it, got inside and buckled up. He got in a little bit after me and he started the car and we drove off.
After a while of driving we eventually made it to the stark tower and we came to a stop, i opened the door and got out and went to the trunk and opened it up and grabbed my stuff. I stood there for a bit waiting for him to get off the phone. We went inside and got into an elevator that would take us to the main floor. We reached the floor level and got out. There was a blonde woman there. Tony went up to her and gave her a kiss. I am assuming that's either his wife or girlfriend.
"Nex meet, Pepper." he said
"Hello!" she said
"Hi.." i said awkwardly
"Well ladies i have to go repair some things underwater for the stark tower you two get to know each other." he said
He went over to a closet and he pulled out a mini remote and clicked a button and I saw the iron man suit. My jaw dropped when I saw it. Pepper looked over and laughed at my reaction.
"Dont worry youll get used to it." she said still laughing
I blinked and closed my mouth, Tony got inside the suite and he was off. Pepper faced me and smiled
"So let's go get you settled up in your room." she said
I nodded and she signaled me to follow her, I grabbed my suitcase and started following her. We went inside a crystal clear elevator.
"Jarvis to the guest room floor." she said
"As you wish." he responded
I slightly jumped at the loud booming voice of him.
"Sorry miss Adams i did not mean to startle you." said the robot voice of jarvis
"Um, it's okay j..jarvis... wherever you are..?" i said looking around
Both the man and pepper laughed a little. I felt my cheeks get a little flushed because of the embarrassment. We got to the guest floor, Pepper got out and I followed her. We came to the end of the corridor where there was a giant window signalling the end of the path. She turned and lifted hand up and I looked at the white door. She opened the door and there was a really big room that was slightly empty. I went inside and it had its own bathroom and closet. Surprisingly there was no bed, I'll probably put my bed there when it gets here.
"Okay so you just get settled in and when you're done come down to the main floor remember to address Jarvis so he can help you get there." she said and smiled
I smiled back and nodded, she walked off and i closed the door to my new room, i started unpacking my suitcases and started hanging my clothes and putting all of my other stuff away.
After maybe half an hour of unpacking i finally finished and looked around, i need to wait for the rest of my stuff to get here since the room is almost the size of my apartment. I started walking towards the door and opened it and walked out of the room. I walked down the long corridor towards the elevator and waited for it to open. The doors opened and I went inside and stood there.
"Um... hello jarvis..?" i said
"Yes miss Adams?" he said
"Could you please take me to the floor where pepper is at, please." i said
"Will do." he said
The elevator started to go down and I leaned back and pulled out my phone and started checking my instagram, nothing new really. I arrived on the floor and Tony was back and was standing with pepper drinking champagne. As i walked towards them a man in a black suit and tie came in from the elevator,
"Phill! Come in." said pepper
"His first name is agent." said tony while pointing at the man
"I really can't stay." said Phil
I looked at them and just stood there, Phil looked over my way.
"So you must be Nexela Adams, nice to meet you, agent phill." said the agent
"Hello agent." i said
Phill looked at all of us.
"I need you to look at this information its urgent." said the agent
"Consultation hours are not now." said Tony
Phill was about to hand the folder to Tony.
"I don't like getting things getting handed to me." he said
I blinked and stood there confused, can't judge if maybe he has a valid reason for it.
"Look how about if we trade, so you take this and i take this and you take this." said pepper as she traded the items around in between the three of them.
"Well this is about the avengers, i didnt make the cut because am well to obsessed with myself and dont like others." said tony as he walked over to a desk
Yikes, that's not a really nice thing to be known for.
"Yep we already all knew that." said pepper
"So what's all of this..?" asked pepper
She walked over and pulled me along with her.
"This is all of this." said Tony as he expanded the screen
There were little screens around all of us and I saw Thor the god of lightning, Hulk, black widow and Steve Rogers also known as captain america. They started having a separate conversation.
"Miss Adams, please come over here." said the agent
I nodded and walked to where he was.
"Welcome to the team, you are an avenger now, along with the rest of them." he said
My eyes widened and I tried saying something but nothing came out. I mean i already knew some fighting and i know how to drop kick a kid but a full on god!? How am I supposed to go against that?
"So am now.. An avenger?" i asked
"Welcome to the team Adams." said phil
"You will need a code name, and i will make you a suite to fight in." said Tony walking over to where we were
"Well I don't really know what my name actually means..?" i said
"Jarvis, tell us the meaning of the name Nex." said pepper
"According to some people the name means death." responded jarvis a few seconds after
"Well how about kek, i think that is a sort of misfortune or death?" said pepper
"Okay i will go by kek, so my new avenger name is kek." i responded
