Chapter 9

Its around three in the morning and I am taking a sip of my second cup of coffee. Looking at the monitors seeing if he was up to anything, he was just sitting on the chair in the cage. I leaned back and stretched, I looked back at the monitor, and Loki was gone. I jolted up and scrambled to get the phone to call Tony, I searched for my phone and didn't see it anywhere.
"Looking for this?" I heard
I quickly turned around and saw Loki standing there holding my phone. I gritted my teeth and tried snatching it from him, he lifted it out of my reach. This God is 6'3 and am just 5'8, so there are some differences there. I grabbed his shoulder and tried reaching it, he smirked down at me it just made me more incredibly mad. I scowled and put my arms on both his shoulders and jumped I locked my legs on his waist and reached for the phone and snatched it. And got off him, I scowled at him and went back sit down and had my back to him and looked back at the monitor.
"So miss Anger issues what are we looking at." he said standing next to me
"Shut it." I said
He raised his eyebrows and that turned into a cheeky look. I looked away from him and tried covering my face with my hand for him not to see the slight blush.
"Is something wrong MISS Nex?." he said
I slammed my hand on the desk and stood up and grabbed his collar and pulled him down to my level.
"We are not the same with or without. I bite back." I hissed at him
He smiled and I looked at him I let go and pushed him away. I turned and crossed my arms, I heard a whoosh of wind and I turned and saw the green mist, I turned around to face the monitors and saw him sitting back on his chair, he looked over at the camera and smiled. Bastard.

It's morning and my babysitting shift is over until twelve. I was tapping the desk waiting for my shift to be over so someone else can come here and take care of this kid. I grabbed my phone and played a beat game, I yawned and looked over to the monitor and saw Loki was awake. He stood up and turned to where the camera was, he raised his eyebrows and smirked slightly. I let out a huff and went back to my game.
I heard a knock at the door, I got up and opened it.
"About time." I said
"Good Morning to you too." said hawks
"Sorry am just tired he was a handful." I said
"Its cool kid go get some sleep and relax for the rest of the day and get ready for the night shift." he said and patted my shoulder
"Thanks, hawks." I said
I grabbed my phone and walked out the door, I walked down the stairs and walked by the cage Loki did not take his eyes off me. As I reached the exit I turned my head slightly to look back at Loki he went back to his serious self and sat back down on his chair and kept starring at me. I raised my eyebrows and turned and walked off.
I got to the kitchen and went to a cabinet and got a pop tart. I opened it and started eating it, Tony walked over to where I am.
"So how did the night shift go." he said
"I rather do the five nights at Freddy's night shift than watch Loki," I said as I took another bite
"Is it like those weird animatronic figures you have of the fox and bunny?" he asked
"Yep rather watch them than watch a kid." I said
He chuckled slightly and patted my shoulder and walked off. Honestly, I rather watch those animatronics than that little bastard.

It's been almost a month since i have had to watch over loki every night and am starting to get used to his little tricks, well not really sometimes he gets me. Am sitting on my chair bouncing my leg nervously as I changed the cameras in the game, not wanting to lose the last night. I kept looking at the clock and it was five am and I am so close to six. The power went out and I started hearing the music. Then Freddy jumped out.
"Nex it's your-"
I got scared and threw my phone to where it came from. I opened my eyes and saw it was hawks.
"Have you ever heard of KNOCKING?!" I said
"What the fuck are you even doing?" he said
"I was playing a horror game." I said flatly
He shook his head and picked up my phone. And handed it to me.
"Guess it's my turn to babysit." I said
"Yep get geared up, he didn't move from his chair he just sat there and looked at the camera occasionally." he said
"Weird. He was messing with me a lot." I said
"...sexual tension..." he mumbled
I hit his shoulder and he chuckled. I grabbed my staff and phone and a charger for the rest of the night.
"Good luck kid." he said and smiled
I smiled back and we both left he went his way and I went mine. I reached the elevator door and told Jarvis to take me to loki's floor. I let out a sigh and leaned my head back on the wall.
