Chapter 23

I looked down at  Nex, she seems to be shaken up by whatever happened in her vision and what just occurred. Something tell me thor did not inform her of anything of the plan... well let's be fair, i did not tell thor i was going to cast a hologram of me because i had a hunch that i was going to get killed in this. But again faking my death, now i need to keep a very low profile.
"Nex, we are going to get you back, you cant say a word to anyone that am still alive. I don't want what i have planned foiled." i explained
"Foiled? FOILED!?" she barked
She slowly got up and looked at me. With a chilling glare. I took in a breath.
"Listen. Nex. this has been part of my plan. I can't fully tell you the plan. But with time it will make sense. You'll see it will." i answered
She just looked at me, like I was mad. She let out a deep sigh.
"Whatever alright i wont say anything at least i know this time you're not dead." she murmured
'This time' what did she mean by that? I raised my eyebrows at her, as she was biting her nails, she looked up at me and raised an eyebrow at me. I just gave her an awkward smile.
"So how am I going back to earth?" she questioned
"Again your talking to someone that has snuck out of Asgard multiple times." i said
She rolled her eyes at me.
"So come on. I want to go back to my room and get out of this butchered dress, sadly had to butcher it because i kept slipping trying to swing on my staff." she said
"Yeah, a shame you had to. You looked very beautiful in it." i confessed
She turned a shade of pink. And shook her head, i snickered at her. She then punched me on the shoulder, i chuckled at that.
"Come on dear, let's get you back." i said
I started walking and she followed close behind, as I led her off.
After a while of walking I led her to an entryway, I stopped and showed her.
"Wait aren't you coming with me?" she said
"Again i can't have this foiled for me... am sorry." i mumbled
"But, I am just going to be in the Avengers tower. As far as I have seen there are no major things that will happen. You can stay in my room, or we can just go out and people wouldn't recognize you... i don't want to be alone." she said
You can hear the pain in her voice, I could see her eyes starting to glaze, I bit my lip slightly.
"Oh to hell with it all. I'll go and stay as long as I can, with you. I don't want to leave you either. I will just need to be careful." i said
She looked up, her eyes lit up. She smiled and hugged me tight. I patted her head, she looked up at me and she kept smiling. She let go and I showed her the way back to earth.
Soon after being back on earth. We were in her room. She let out a sigh and walked over to her bed and laid down, I followed her and sat down at the end of the bed looking at her.
"Jesus it was a wild ride huh?" said nex
"It was something to say the least." i answered
"Wait, you're supposedly dead, am pretty sure Thor would tell the rest. Including everyone in the tower. Wait, how did I come back because technically you died. And I was supposed to be with Thor to come back. And am pretty sure i would be upset if you died.." she rambled
"Nex you're not making any sense. Literally what you just said made no sense." i said
"What am I saying ? You're dead. And I magically went missing. And wouldn't that be looking for me? And he would inform everyone about the whole thing." said nex
She has a point, I raised my eyebrows thinking about what I can plan. By all means I died, and nex was supposed to be with thor... crap how am I going to get out of this one...
"Loki?" asked nex
She snapped me out of my train of thought and I looked up at her.
"Yes dear?" i answered
"No nothing you just looked really confused or concerned." she said
"Ah yes, I was just thinking about what you said because you have a point. And I am just thinking what I can do to slip out of this one." i answered
"Yeah you do have a point, neither of the avengers know am here right now." said nex
We both sat there thinking about what we could do. I looked up at nex and she was staring at the wall, it seemed like she was deep in thought.
"Wait, I got it. You can change how you look right?" she said
"Yes I can change my appearance, why?" i asked
"You can simply make yourself look like Thor, appear, and say we are back, say you died, and we will be home free!" she exclaimed
She had a point in what she was saying. For once she is being smart.
"That's actually smart coming from you." i said
She sat up and looked me dead in the eye and snarled annoyed. I chuckled, then I got hit with one of her stuffed animals.
"Anyways mr. smart ass. When should we take this plan into action?" she asked
"We could do it today." i answered
"Loki. it's two in the morning." she said
I looked over at the clock on the wall, and she was right. It is two in the morning.
"How long have we even gone for?" she asked
"I don't know honestly. Asgards time goes slower. I want to say like a month and a half. Maybe?" i said
She grabbed her phone. And her eyes widened.
"What's wrong?" i asked
"We were gone for almost four months, loki." she gasped
"Ah." i simply said
Her phone then started ringing, the tone of the music sounded of her favorite game.
"Oh no its my parents and they want to facetime me.." she muttered
"Facetime?" i asked 
"Yes, now keep your head down and stay down." she snapped
She grabbed my head and shoved it down, she took in a breath then proceeded to answer the call.
"Nexela dear!" a female voice sounded
"Hi mom, hi dad." she waved at her phone
"Hey sis whats up?" said a male voice
"Hey Tyler, you look so big." she said
"Is that Nex on the phone?" another person said
"Rick it's me!" she said
They all greeted each other and were having small talk. While nex was still holding me down next to her.
"So nex where are you, that doesn't seem like the apartment we visited in you last time?" asked her mom
"Oh um. I moved. I got a new job that provided me with housing.." she quickly said
"Oh that sounds wonderful dear. What is the job?" asked her dad
"Em it's like a secret thing. Ya know? Since its like private investigation and stuff..." she mumbled
"That sounds very awesome." said one of her brothers
"Yeah its really cool, i've gotten a lot of work so far." she answered
"So have you gotten a boyfriend yet?" said one of her brothers
"Huh? Oh what no um no i don't have time for that stuff.." she quickly stated
"I can tell your not being honest." said her mom
"What mom is totally being honest." she said
"Now that gave you away." said her dad
Very entertaining to see all of this happen. I cleared my throat and completely forgot I was not supposed to make any noise.
"What was that? Is there someone in there with you?" said her mom
Her eye widened
"What no, I just cleared my throat. Ehem." she said and proceeded to swat me on the head
"It sounded like a male." said her brother
"Um no anyways guys um its three in the morning over here, i think it's like afternoon for you guys over there, and i need to work today so bye guys love you." she said
"Alright nex we love you too." they said
She hung up and set her phone down and let out a big sigh. And looked over at me.
"You did that on purpose didn't you?" she snarled
"I did no, am going to be completely honest i forgot i was supposed to remain quite
"Yeah right. I doubt that." she said
"I swear I am being completely honest." i said as i rolled my eyes
"Iditiot." she mumbled
"What did you say?" i sat up
"Nothing shut up." she shoved me down again
She yawned and flopped down next to me. It is really late. We both should probably rest and later we will talk about the little stunt we are going to pull off.
"We should probably go to sleep. And prepare for tomorrow" she yawned
"Agreed. We need to think this through. On how we are even going to pull this stunt." i said
"Alright, rest up." she yawned as she pulled blanket over herself
I looked over at her, she closed her eyes and quickly seemed to fall asleep. I kept looking at her until I slowly closed my eyes and fell asleep.
