Everything was falling into place. At least for Marissa it was. One thing was missing though.Spencer. He was so wrapped up in everything else that he seemingly forgot he had a girlfriend, the same girl he had gotten pregnant.
"Spencer. You know you haven't been around Marissa in forever." Derek Morgan said to his co-worker.
"Who?" Spencer asks dumbfounded. Morgan rolls his eyes and walks to Hotches office.
"The kid forgot about Marissa."
"I noticed that. Emily and I are getting married this week and we have the week off. So on Friday, Emily's having Marissa sing because Marissa can sing and we won't have to spend money on music. The rest starting from today. Spencer's going to the apartment that's where Marissa will be." Morgan nods and they both walk out of Hotches office.
"Go home. We get the rest of the week off and Friday is the wedding." Hotch says, the team members nod and get their stuff to go home.
Marissa quickly walked to the car her and Spencer drove to work. The ride was kinda quiet all except for Spencers hand resting on Marissa upper thigh. She bit her lip.
"What are you doing?" She asks.
"Nothing at all." Spencer smiles at her. She breathes unnervingly. She taps her fingers against the door as they finally pull into the parking lot.
Why was Spencer acting weird? When she opened the front door she found out.
"Spencer what's all this?" She asks covering her mouth.
"We've been together for quite some time know. Almost a year. 9 months."
"Is this why you've been acting so distant?" He nods.
"I'm sorry." She nods and smiles halfheartedly.
"So what do we do now?" She asks.
"I made dinner."
"Awe." Marissa kisses his cheek and they eat.
"Spencer why are you really doing this?" She asked as they lay in bed watching Divergent/Insurgent.
"Would you come outside with me for a moment?" He asked getting up and walking to the porch overlooking the apartment complex. Marissa followed him cautiously.
"What's this all about Spence?" She asks.
"Marissa. I remember the day I met you, I swore be dammed I wouldn't get feelings for you, but now I'm so in love with you I'm going to do something I never thought I'd get to do. You mean everything to me and more, I love you to the moon and back. I'm sorry I've ignored you for a while but its because I was nervous about doing this, but I'm 100% sure I wanna do this." Marissa's eyes go big.
"What the hell are you doing Spencer?" Marissa whispered.
"Can you go get me the big brown book off the shelf?" Marissa walked over and got the book and handed it to Spencer. He flipped to page 3-30. The day they met and opened it and got down on one knee.
"I love you so fucking much. Will you please do me the honors of being my wife?" She looked down at the book that said.
Marissa, will you marry me?
And a hole was cut out and there was a ring in it. She could feel tears brimming her eyes.
