You and Light walked into the suite since Light got a call from his father saying that there has been another audio message and a journal entry sent in.
"He wanted the journal shown on TV?" Light asked. "Yes, this is it." Soichiro shows Light. You lean over Light's shoulder and look over at the paper, 'Hm, 2006? That was last year..'
"Please look at the entry he made on the 30th," L says, and you look over and make eye contact, quickly pulling away, focusing on the entry. 'Confirmed our shinigami at the Tokyo Dome.' The entry read.
'Does this mean they're going to do this on May 30th? If this was on TV, their intentions would be obvious to anyone who sees it.' You hear Ryuk cackle. 'Oh, I see. If this person has shinigami eyes, that means they will be able to tell if Light is Kira. I read this in a scroll a while ago. Wait, if that's so, that means they will know I'm a goddess, or at least be skeptical about me not having a name or lifespan. Oh, this is interesting, I wonder what they'll think about that.' You smirk. Looking back over the entry, you notice another one. 'My friend and I showed off our notebooks in Aoyama.' It read.
'I see, so the May 30th was merely a distraction, while the real meeting was on the 22nd in Aoyama. That could only be understood by Light since notebooks don't necessarily say what the killing method is. Clever, I bet L would still catch on, though.' You sigh. L walks over to you two. "What do you think?" He asks. "Is it real?"
"At this point in time, all I can say for sure is he must be stupid." Light says as you chuckle. "Yeah, I agree. I mean, it's completely obvious he wants to meet Kira at the home game." Matsuda says.
"Doesn't he understand what would happen if we aired this message? It would create an immediate panic and the game would have to be canceled." Soichiro says. "To be honest," L says, eating chocolate. You eye the sweets, your sweet tooth freaking out. "It's so stupid, I don't know how to deal with this whole situation anymore. I mean, if we make the diary public then we'll be forced to make some kind of televised announcement canceling the game on the 30th, but if we don't broadcast it, we can be sure the second Kira won't do anything." L says, walking over to a couch and sitting- no, crouching down.
"Won't canceling the game make him angry? There's no telling what he'll do." Matsuda says, as everyone else in the task force sits in other chairs, except you and Light.
"Frankly, that's not a big concern. From what we've witnessed it's safe to say the Second Kira admires the real one. He gave his word to the Kira we invented that he'd refrain from killing aimlessly. I'm inclined to believe that. I say we make it public, and we air an announcement canceling the game. At the same time, we'll announce that on May 30th on all roads leading to the Tokyo Dome. And finally, we'll send a response from our invented Kira, something like, 'I understand, and I agree to meet you there.'" He picks up his tea and sips it. "Ryuzaki, you don't honestly expect him to go there if we set up checkpoints around the Dome, do you?" Soichiro asks.
L holds the paper in between his fingers, bringing it to his face. "I don't think that Kira would even consider it, but it's possible the other one might. It all depends on how stupid he really is. However, assuming he is not actually the idiot we think he is, there could be another message hidden in this diary. One that's not so obvious. If there's a message here written in some code, that only people who have this Shinigami power can understand, there would be no way for me to decipher it. Still, it would-" You cut him off, "Actually, Ryuzaki, may I see this paper one more time?" He looks up at you, surprised you cut him off, "Go ahead, Mishiko." He hands you the paper. You take it, and read over it, spotting the entry that says 'My friend and I showed off our notebooks in Aoyama.' You point to said entry.
"Here, it says, 'My friend and I showed off our notebooks in Aoyama.' I think this is a code. Maybe referring to Kira that they are showing off their killing power in Aoyama, don't you think?" He hums, "You're right, Mishiko. Thank you very much. It was a good idea to bring you into this investigation, so, let's keep an eye out for people with notebooks in Aoyama, and also people in clothing stores in Shibuya, just in case." He looks over at you and you nod, glancing over at Light, who was glaring daggers at you. You smile, looking back at the task force. "I think we should arrange to have undercover officers in both locations on these dates," L says, putting the paper down.
"I should probably go to Aoyama and Shibuya since I blend in with the crowd there, you know." Matsuda says, "I'll go too, and Y/- I mean, Mishiko, should go too, right?" Light says, putting his cup down. "But, Light.." Soichiro looks up at Light. "We'll be all right, don't worry. Aoyama and Shibuya are places we'd go anyway, right, Mishiko?" The light turned to you. "Yeah, we'll be alright." You smile. "Not to mention out of all of us, we'd probably look the most natural with Matsui. Besides, the Second Kira would be there looking for Kira, not the police." You say.

You and Light both get home, and you go to your room quickly. "We're home!" Light says Light's mother walks towards you both. "You two are home quite late today." She says. "Yeah.." Light says. "It's because I was hanging out with my girlfriend." Sayu instantly rushes into the room with a bag of chips in her hand, laughing, "Light! Do you have a girlfriend now? What's her name?!" She squeals. "Oh, come on. Don't act like you didn't see me walk in with Y/n just now." He says, taking off his shoes and going upstairs, "With... Y/n?! Y/n is your girlfriend?!" She yells as Light chuckles from upstairs. "You should look for a boyfriend, Sayu."
"Light, shouldn't you two have some dinner?" Light's mom says, "Actually, I'm still full from room service at the hotel." Light calls. Sayu squeals, "I can't believe you just said that to Mom! So what's this about a hotel? What were you and Y/n doing in there?"
