It was early in the morning, and you were sitting in the guest room, as always, reading a book. You heard the door knock, 'What's with Light knocking when I'm reading?' You get up from the bed and walk to the door opening it.

"Hey, Y/n, I was wondering if you wanted to go to Spaceland with me?" Light asked, "Like.. a date?" I ask "I suppose, it's up to you." Light looks away, with a slight red flush. "Sure, why not, just give me a moment to get ready, 'kay?" Light nods, and you close the door.

You change into a casual outfit, not expecting much to happen. Opening the door, you're surprised by Light waiting next to the doorframe, "Oh, hey Light, let's go."

You both arrive at the bus stop and as soon as you get there, the bus arrives. You both get on, sitting in the back, while you're sitting, you notice a man, who you saw following you before, sit in the seat behind you. 'That's strange, why has this man been following us? Could he know that Light is Kira?' The bus stops, to pick up another passenger, you notice the passenger keeps his hands in his pockets and stays in the front for a bit too long.. suddenly, he pulls out.. A GUN?! He points it at the driver, and yells "Stay in your seats unless you wanna die!" You keep a straight face, since you obviously can't die, you glance over at Light, to see that his face is straight too. 'He planned this, didn't he.' "Everybody shut up! If anybody moves, I'm putting a bullet in their head." The man turns to the driver, "Alright, driver, you listen to me. I know you've got the number for space lands office on you. Call them!" The man yells "Okay." The driver says, nervously, grabbing the phone and dialing the number. "Thi-This is Sasaki, calling from bus 174." "Tell 'em what's going on, and no tricks either!" The man yells "M-My bus has been hijacked and he's holding a gun to my head!" The man snatches the phone, "You heard what he said, now you listen up!" He points the gun toward the passengers, "Have a female staff member...." You zone out, 'Is this Lights doing? Why would he do this? No.. it can't be.. is it that he's aware of the man in the back, and he's trying to somehow make him die?' Light pokes your thigh, and shows you a note, 'Y/n, don't worry, as soon as he turns around, I'm gonna grab the gun out of his hand.' It read. "Are you an idiot? Don't do that." I whisper to him. "She's right, don't be stupid, that's risky" the man behind us leans forward, "if it comes to that, I'll take care of it." Light starts to write, "It's okay, we don't have to pass notes back and forth. As long as we keep it down, he won't be able to hear our voices over the sound of the engine." Light crumpled up the note, and put it in his pocket. "Do you have any proof that you're not his accomplice? Why should we trust you?" Light says "Accomplice? Light, are you high?" You say to him "Huh, no? I've read about this before. The first hijacker comes in like he's working alone. Meanwhile, a second one pretends to be a hostage, and stays in the very back, just in case something goes wrong." You lean back, "If you think he's one, then you can think that, but I think you're on something." You say, shrugging. The man shows an FBI identification, and Light takes it and shows it to you. 'FBI? Ah, I see. This is what Light was doing.' You see light smirk and hand the ID back to the man. "I'll trust you, and I guess for the time being I won't bother asking what an FBI agent was doing on the bus in the first place." Light says "Do you have a gun?" You pitch in. "Yeah, I've got one." The man replies "So, if it comes down to it, we can rely on you, right?" Light continues. "Yes." The man points his gun at an elderly couple, "Shut the hell up, you old hag! You want me to shoot you right now?!" Light drops a piece of paper. 'Shit, if he sees that, we're screwed.' He goes to pick it up, and the hijacked points the gun at him, "Don't move, you little punk! What the hell is that? Smart-ass! You guys were planning something back here, weren't ya?" He picks up the note and opens it. "Tch, plans for a date, huh? Stupid kid." He throws the note at light. You notice light smirking again, 'What's Light planning?' The man turns around and points the gun at... Ryuk? 'Huh? Can he see him..?' "W-who the hell are you?! You in the very back! What do you think you're doing?" The man yells 'Ah, I see. The note Light dropped was from the death note. Clever.' You give Light a thumbs up and wink, confusing him. "Don't mess with me! How long have you been hiding back there?!" The man yells. "What's this? You're talking to me?" You hear, but only you and Light can hear it. 'I see, now the passengers will think he's hallucinating.' "So you mean you can actually see me right now?" The man steps back and puts his finger on the trigger, "Stay there, you! You keep away from me, you freak!" "Everyone, get down!" The agent yells. Light wraps his arm around you and pushes you down. "Don't be scared, it'll be okay." Light whispers "Me, scared? You're basically pissing your pants." You whisper back. "Oh, I get it. That little note that light 'accidentally' dropped, was actually torn from the pages of the Death Note itself." Ryuk walks towards the man. "Since he tricked this guy into touching the paper, he's the only other one on the bus who can see me. That's smart." "Get away!" The man yells, attempting to shoot Ryuk. "Sorry, pal. I'm a shinigami, so I'm afraid your bullets aren't gonna kill me." The man screams, shooting the glass, until his gun empties and the glass breaks. "Anyone who touches the Death Note can see me. I have to stay till the Death a note is finished, or I see you die, whichever comes first. And a shinigami can't die from being shot. I've said all these things at one time or another. Well, he is the top-ranked student in the country. Guess I shouldn't be surprised. He even used this hijacking as a way to get the guy following him to willingly give up his name." Raye runs through Ryuk, and the hijacker yells at the driver. "Stop the bus! Let me off!" The bus abruptly stops, and the doors open. The man sprints out, and lands on his hands and knees, suddenly, a car comes by and.. runs him over... "Oh, gods." You say, looking at the man with a pool of blood around him, you look at Light and see that he's checking his watch, he glances at you, "Hey, you okay?" He asks, and you look at him with a glare. "Why would you do that?" You murmur to him, getting off the bus. "Hey, wait up, what do you mean?" Light follows behind you, nervous. 'Does she know?' He thinks.

You don't go back to the Yagami home. Instead, you just walk, and walk, until your legs can't move anymore. You spot a bench and sit down. 'I don't even know where I am.' You look up, and see a bakery, you walk in, seeing a dark-haired male ordering something from the front, as you get in line.
