Light POV:
I sit at my desk, my leg shaking with nervousness because of y/n, as much as I fight the tiredness, I fall asleep at my desk, leaning on my hand.

I wake up due to hearing the door being violently knocked on. I run downstairs and open the door, still sleepy. I see a soaking y/n, my eyes widen 'She looks exhausted, and she probably has a fever..' I pull her inside, and bring her into a tight embrace, I nuzzle my head into her shoulder, "Y/n..." she leans into me, and hugs me back. "Where were you.. I was so worried.." she sighs, "I'm so sorry Light.." I pull out of the hug, and place my hand on her head, I notice she blushes a bit 'Maybe I can use her to become more powerful.. no.. I would never do that to her..' "You're running a fever, here, come to my room and lay down. I'll make you some tea" I say, leading her to my room and sitting her on my bed. I give her a spare change of clothes "Here, you're soaking wet." She takes them "Thank you, Light." I look away, 'amI blushing?' I walk downstairs, preparing the tea, while waiting for the water to heat up, Ryuk keeps bombarding me, "You really love that human huh? I thought you shouldn't have distractions" he snickers. I glare at him "I don't love her." I say through my teeth 'I don't.. she's just a stepping stone to help with the creation of the world since she's smart.. right?' I finish making the tea, and carry it upstairs, thinking intensely about Y/n. I clear my head, and open the door, seeing her still sitting on the edge of the bed. I sit next to her, and she looks down. "You should probably stay home from school tommorow.. why did you run off anyway..?" I ask her, she looks up, "Light.." she says my name, I look into her eyes "I know you're Kira." I freeze. 'How does she know...W-what do you mean.."I ask. "I know you're Kira, but please don't worry. I won't tell anyone, I promise. I just want to know, why? Why would you use a death note like that?" 'She knows about the death note?' Ryuk cackles, "Oh, you're in real trouble now!" "H-How do you know that?" I say, shocked "I can't tell you that, love." She looks up, with a mischievous grin. I blush and look away, 'What is she doing.. wait.. I shouldn't fall for her shit..' I look into her eyes "So, will you be my goddess? Will you rule the world with me?" I ask "Of course..." she replies 'Gotcha.'  I lean in, but I get pushed back. "..not." she says 'What..?' I frown. "I never said I would help you, I just said I knew, and wouldn't tell anyone." I sit there in shock, hearing Ryuks cackle again. "Think about it next time, Kira." She pulls me into a kiss, 'She tastes like honey..' it ends before I want it to, sadly. She then gets up, leaving with her tea in hand. I put my hand to my lips, still feeling her warmth. Ryuk goes up to my face, "Your face looks like a tomato!" He cackles, literally rolling on the floor. "Shut up, Ryuk." I snark, annoyed. 'Why would she kiss me after saying something like that..' I lay down in bed, trying to sleep.

Y/N POV:
I walk out of Lights room, smirking. 'Did he really think he could manipulate me into being his pawn? Did he really think I would just, give him everything he wants? What a joke.' I arrive at my room, and walk inside, collapsing on the bed, I look down, at Lights clothes, 'I guess that was nice of him..' snuggling into his shirt, I fall sound asleep.

I wake up, get ready for school,  and walk downstairs, coincidentally at the same time as Light. We make eye contact and I quickly look away, Sayu is in the living room and she looks between us, "What's with the tense energy?" She rubs her eyes and yawns. Light glares at her and she puts her hands up "Woah, Light. What's up with you?" She chuckles. "Morning Sayu." I say, putting my shoes on, and leaving the house.
———————a couple days later——————
It's time for the entrance exams. You and Light hadn't spoken about what happened a few days back, and just acted like nothing happened. Except, Light was starting to get more clingy, and acting like I was his property, he got mad when I spoke to other men, and stuff like that. And you? You weren't putting up with his shit. He clearly just wanted your goddesses touch.

You arrived at the entrance exams, going ahead of Light, you walk in, and take your seat. You look over and notice.. the man from the bakery? 'No, this must be a coincidence.. maybe he just looks similar..' He notices your stare, and you make eye contact.. until you notice Light sit down, you look over to him, instantly looking back at your paper. "Start!" the man in the front yells. you pick up your pen and start writing.

It was the day of orientation, apparently you were supposed to say a speech with Light, and another person.

You walk to the stage once your name is called, and you see that the other person on the stage is none other than.. the bakery man. You hear people speaking in the crowd "Look at the difference between them all! The guy on the left looks like he's been groomed for success all his life!" You grunt. "And look at the girl in the middle! She looks like a sweet goddess, but the look on her face is completely the opposite!" Another guy says "Then the guy on the right, he looks like what they call a 'mad genius'!" You smirk at those words, glancing over at said man. 'Hm, they're right' you get passed the paper, and say the stupid speech in a monotone voice, surprising the audience, since you looked like a sweet princess.

You all sit back down, and you notice the weird guy sits in between you and Light. "Hideki Ryuga, was it?" You lean over and look at the man. "Yes, and you are Y/n Yagami, correct?" You chuckle at the last name "Just call me Y/n," you lean closer "The last name is fake." you whisper, he nods, then looks over at Light. "Light Yagami, Director of the NPA, Soichiro Yagamis son." Ryuga says to him. Light Yagami, Director if the NPA, Soichiro Yagamis son nods, "Yes, that's me.."
"Currently, your father is a part of the Kira investigation, and I have great connections to them." You nod, "And what are those, exactly." Ryuga looks at the both of you. "I'd like to tell you that," he whispers,"I am L." You notice that Light visibly tenses up, and his eyes widen, but as soon as the shock comes, it disappears. "Well, if you are who you say you are, then you have nothing but my respect." He praises. "Mm, I suppose I agree." You hum, putting your thumb to your lip, simultaneously with L. "Well, I'm glad to hear that.."
