After a few minutes, I was parked in my usual spot in the parking lot of the university. My mind suddenly felt better. I climbed off the car after I turned it off.

I exhaled loudly as I looked at the building.

I went straight to my locker and tried to get a pencil or a pen after I left my bag at home. But, I almost screamed when I found out I don't have any spare inside.

Is there anyone who's more ungrateful than me?

Luckily, the type of exam was multiple choice and we only need to pick the best answer in every question by simply shading the corresponding letter of it.

As what the professor said, it's the type of question which is the easiest for those who didn't study yet the hardest for those who did.

Yes, it made sense. I didn't prepare for this exam but I was just lucky enough to just shade any letter that I think was the best among the others.

I smiled a little bit as I thought about it.

I glanced at my watch and I still got five minutes before the exam starts. I felt my phone vibrating inside my pocket and I pulled it out just to find out that it was my mom calling.

I fixed my eyes at the screen. I couldn't take it because if I would, it'll just ruin my day.

Instead of answering it, I pressed the power button and turned it off.

I quickly entered the room after I spotted Mr. Gregson, the proctor, walking on the hallway.

I found Roxy on her seat and she was doing something. I nudged her arm as I took my seat beside her.

"What took you so long?" She asked, but her eyes was on her book.

"Uh.. Something happened at home." I gasped. "What are you doing?" I asked, leaning my head to her side to see what she's up to.

"I didn't have enough time yesterday so I was thinking maybe a quick review could help." She shrugged.

Oh.

"That's good." I lowered my voice.

Gosh! Why do I feel guilty?

I looked around and saw my other classmates talking and I knew it was all about the exam.

"This would be the last anyway." I muttered to myself.

"What are you saying?" I flinched when Roxy suddenly tapped my shoulder.

"Uh. Hmm.. Nothing." I faked a laugh.

"Hmm.. What's got into you? You look weird today." She grabbed both of my shoulders and examined me carefully. "You've been crying, haven't you?"

I gulped before I shook my head. "No."

She was eyeing me suspiciously. I couldn't tell her the truth.

Roxy's been my friend for almost a year now. She's actually my first friend in college. She's the complete opposite of me. I mean, she loves the course as much as I hate it. She studies for about five hours a day while I, on the other hand, would be infront of the tv, watching more chickflick movies. She's brunette while I just had a pink hair. She's quite clean with her body while mine's pierced and soon to be tattooed. But, despite all that differences, she was the one who stood by me when the bullying started right after I changed myself, even though she still doesn't know the truth why I did it.

"Okay, everybody settle down now." Mr. Gregson suddenly emerged and we both jerked away.

"I still want to talk to you after." Roxy whispered in my ears and I slowly nodded.

I knew she wouldn't let it slip away. She knew something's wrong.

"Uh.. Rox? Do you have an extra pencil?" I sheepishly asked, scratching the back of my neck.

"My God, Shiloh! You still haven't changed." She scolded as she looked inside her bag to find a pencil.

"I'm not planning to change. You know that."

I creased my brows at the thought of changing myself, I mean to change my mind of continuing my wrong course. But, she just rolled her eyes at me.

"Alright, kindly spread out your chairs." Mr. Gregson called out and everybody stood up and followed him.

The proctor started to call out everyone's name as he distributed the answer sheets and the questionnaires.

"Paul Johnson... Olive Reiner... Karen Summers..." He called out as each one of them stood up.

"Are you ready?" Roxy suddenly asked me.

"When was I ready?" I answered, sarcastically. And she rolled her eyes again.

"Well, you know. If you need help, just look over my paper." She whispered and I quickly looked around me, checking if somebody might have heard us.

"Are you crazy? I don't need your help." I arched my brow.

"Ouch. That hurts." She placed her palm on chest as if she was really hurt, but she was chuckling.

"Seriously, but I have to fail on this."

"What?!!"

We both jerked away when suddenly couple of heads were turning to our way.

"Ms. Miller? Is anything wrong back there?" Mr. Gregson suddenly called her.

I lowered myself unto my seat, trying to avoid everybody's attention. Roxy shook her head.

"Alright. Then, there's no need to shout."

Oops!

I glanced at her, giving her an apologetic smirk.

But, she was just giving me her third eye-roll.
