"Oh. That's why you were there." I nodded as Brandon explained why he was there at the university. He told me that he once took the same course as mine three months before they moved from their house.
Since I didn't have my car, Brandon took me to a nearby pizza house after a few minutes of walk/tour around the campus. I was surprised he has more knowledge about the whole university than I have. I told him everything about the failure of my stupid mission and the reason behind my pink hair and piercings. I was grateful to have someone to talk to at that moment.
I was too upset at everything and the only thing that I needed the most was to let out my anger and my feelings. It was a great timing when I got to meet him in the hallway.
"Yeah. I heard today's your last day and I thought of visiting the uni. I just happened to see you in the hallway." He smiled.
"Really?"
"Yes. And I was surprised.. I barely recognized you." He blinked.
"Oh.." I tried hard not to sound disappointed.
What does that mean?
"Well... I mean, you look different. " He stuttered as he was awkwardly glancing up my hair.
"Uh--" I said as I touched it. I felt embarrassed. I was biting my lower lip.
"But.. you're still pretty." He said smiling at me and he still looked like the younger version of Ryan Gosling.
What??!!!!!
I felt a heat on my face as I dropped my head, trying to hide the embarrassment.
"Yeah. You still looked like----"
He stopped when his phone rang. He blinked once before he pull his phone out from his pocket. He scrunched up his nose as he glanced at who was at the screen.
"Excuse me for a minute." Brandon said before he stood up and went outside the shop to take the call.
I was just watching him outside and I was wondering who he was talking to and I assumed he/she's someone who's close to him because I could see the comfort on his face and he kept on smiling and seemed like he was so amused.
I quickly shifted my sight to my plate when he suddenly turned his head towards mine.
Shit! I hope he didn't notice me.
After a few minutes, he was walking back inside the shop and I felt my heart racing again.
He jogged towards our table and I couldn't stop myself from looking at his fine face.
"Sorry about that. Well, uhm where did we stop?" He asked.
When you told me that I'm pretty.
I wanted to tell him but ofcourse I didn't. I didn't want to embarrass myself more.
"Hmm.. How's your new school?" Fortunately, I thought of a topic right away.
"It's good. But, I know my old school is better." He smiled.
"Oh..." I nodded approvingly.
The air felt awkward between us for like five minutes. I was thinking deeply of what to say just to break the tension.
"So.. Shiloh.." He suddenly called, snapping out my irregular train of thought.
I cleared my throat before I answered. "Y-yeah?"
"Hmm..Do you have a boyfriend? I- I mean are you dating someone right now?" Brandon asked, leaning his head closer to my face.
Oh!
