I parked at my usual spot at the university's parking lot. I couldn't stop smiling and I felt like my heart was going to explode.

I was so grateful. I didn't expect that would happen to me. I had suffered for several years while my parents were forcing me to have what they wanted for themselves and that was ever since I was in highschool. I felt like the choker on my neck was gone and I could freely breathe on my own.

I was strolling happily along the corners as I entered the hallway. I could sense that people were staring at me like they're thinking what's wrong with me or if I had gone crazy because ever since I came in the university, they hadn't seen me smiled or even greeted anyone.

Even I, couldn't believe that I was actually smiling at Maddison as I walked pass her. I didn't notice her friends were behind her.

"What's got into you, punk?" She called as she was twirling her hair with her finger and her minions were giggling at her side.

"Oh. Nothing. I'm just happy that I can no longer see you starting next week." I smirked.

"Oh wow! Finally, they'd already kicked you out. You don't belong here." She snided.

I opened my mouth but immediately closed it when I found Travis walking towards us.

I decided not to ride with Maddison's craziness so, I just raised my middle finger at her and walked away.

Maddison had been a badass to me. She felt like she's still in highschool that bullying was still her hobby. Her family was actually one of our family friends before and we really had a close relationship with them but it ended four years ago when her mom had a fight with my mom.

Her mom was really kinda nasty and I just won't argue from whom Maddison got her attitude.

I ran towards the room where I was going to take the first exam which was Accounting and I was still thinking how on earth was it related to my course. I didn't want to bump into Travis again because I was serious that I was really mad at him.

I got inside and as usual, Roxy was already there.

"Hey!" I greeted her as I took my seat beside her.

"Hey yourself! Wait, may I know what's the reason why you're smiling right now?" She raised her eyebrows.

"Hmm.. guess what?"

"What?"

"I've talked to my parents and they're allowing me to..."

I stopped when Ms. Yao entered the room. "Okay, guys settle down now. We have to begin the exam five minutes from now."

I glanced at Roxy and we both shrugged.

"To be continued later." She pointed her finger at me and I just nodded.

We all moved our chairs away from each other when I happened to see Travis entering inside.

What the hell is he doing here?

"Roxy!" I called her.

"What?"

"The Travis guy's here." I whispered. And she looked up.

"Where? Which one? That blonde guy?"

"No. The one with brown hair."

"Ohh.." Was all she said.

"So, you're really leaving?" She frowned once I told her everything that my parents had told me and about our deal.
