thanks for reading! just a quick author's note as this story continues to gain traction...
this story is considered lolita-esque, but is NOT at all romanticizing or condoning the actions within this book.
this story is about an unprofessional, inappropriate and extremely wrong relationship/love story between a 13-14 year old girl and her teacher.
with that being said, it is much like a novel "My Dark Vanessa" if any of have you have read/heard of that book, this is very much in the same vein. not condoning or romanticizing the love, but very much just giving perspective to it and how complicated love can be.
just to reiterate, he is grooming her, he is a pedophile. there will be repercussions to this.
please vote and comment! this story is still ongoing!!

Everyone can sense something is off with Michael. This entire week he's been moody, rude and the few times I've tried to take my usual nap he's tapped me on the shoulder and tried to get me to talk to him outside. Not falling for that bait, I've stopped doing anything that could get him pissed off or bring any attention to me whatsoever.
"Kathy, good job. Steven, great. Ethan...not your best work," Michael patrols around the classroom, handing out our latest essays - one that I actually studied for and worked on. I mean I spent like a solid hour on it but it's the most work I've done for this class so far. Ethan grimaces at his paper and I notice dozens of red marks in the margins and a giant red 'D' at the top of the page, "Iris..." He trails off, obviously trying to get me to look up at him, to notice him, to register his existence in the slightest, but I ignore his baiting, letting him toss my paper on the desk silently as he stalks off to the next row.
My eyes almost pop out of my head at the letter on the first page.
"What'd you get?" Ethan whispers and I show him my paper, for the first time extremely embarrassed in this class. I glance up to see Michael gazing in my direction, a slight smirk riding on his lips as I narrow my eyes in his direction. Looking back to my paper, I see there aren't even any marks or notes made on it. He just gave me a shitty grade just because. I flip through the few pages and on the last page he wrote, "You know what to do to change this grade." My stomach drops as I quickly fumble back to the cover page, praying nobody read that over my shoulder. Doing a cursive glance around me, everyone seems to be invested in their own papers, disappointed looks cropping up all over.
Ethan shakes his head, showing me his paper sporting the same grade as mine.
"What the hell has gotten into him?" He angrily whispers and I can sense that rage from last week building within him. "Didn't he give you a bad grade last week too?" He brings up the events of last Friday and I just shake my head, not wanting to rehash it.
"Yeah but...I don't know. I didn't study for that test," I mumble and he stares at me for a moment, almost like he's looking right through me.
"You don't need to keep making excuses for him. He's being a di-"
"What's that, Ethan?" Michael calls from the front of the class and I wonder how in the hell he managed to hear him, "Something you wanna share with the rest of the class?" I can sense Ethan's gulp from here as he silently shakes his head, turning away from me and back towards the front of the classroom.
"Good," If looks could kill, Ethan would have been incinerated just then. Only then do I notice Ethan giving Michael the same fiery look back as soon as he turns away to continue doling out bad grades to anxious students.
