I have been in this school for 4 years and I find someone better than me. How rude! Don't they know who I am?! The first one is that blonde Carrie who was my 'friend' in elementary school and now it's Scarlett. I'm in the Glee Club with Scarlett, for some reason, she got in the club. The club president, Stacy, even gave her a solo to sing at the school's anniversary assembly! I am so much better than Scarlett and Stacy chose her? Anyways, the whole school is gossiping about Carrie hanging out with Jay and Steven kissing Scarlett. Some boy told me a rumor that Carrie and Jay are now dating! I can't believe it! I was the winner at the Star Academy's pageant show. Even though, I have to admit, I couldn't have won if Carrie hadn't been unable to enter the pageant because she was at an afterparty for Chanel, after modeling for their clothes. Besides, Scarlett was also busy opening for a famous band. But, still why didn't Jay or Steven choose me? I went back to my dorm to talk to Gwen and Tiffany.
" Hey girls! Any gossip?" I asked.
"Yep!" Both of them shouted excitedly.
"I'll go first. There are two new boys at school. I think their names are Brett and Jack?" Tiffany said excitedly.
" Their names are Brett and Jake, not Jack! I heard that they are super cute!!!" Gwen said as she squealed with excitement.
" Well, that's good news." I replied slyly.
"Lana , we go to Math class with them! Do you want to talk to them?" Gwen and Tiffany said excitedly.
" DUH! Of course I'm gonna talk to them. I am the queen of this school." I boasted.
The next day, I walked up to Brett and Jake after Math class.
" Hi! Are you new here?" I asked nicely. " Yeah we're new. I'm Brett, this is Jake." Brett replied.
" Hi!" Jake said.
" I'm Lana . These are my besties, Gwen and Tiffany." I said. " So, did you get your dorm rooms?" I asked.
" Oh, yeah. Our room is in room 354." Jake replied.
" Seriously? Our room is number 353! You're our neighbors!" I said happily.
" Well, why don't you girls come over at 5:00 in the afternoon?" Jake asked.
" Sure!" I said. I turned to the girls and said, " This is about to get interesting."
