We arrived back at my penthouse and Lana was carried back into our guest room. I went back to my room and flopped onto my bed, mind racing. I wanted to believe that Lana was innocent. I sighed knowing she might wake up anytime soon. Maybe I can wipe her memory of the bomb and her involvence with Gwen and Tiffany, but that would make me.... a really bad person. Besides, I haven't told my dad that I knocked out Lana, my dad was seriously against hurting other people! I stopped at the guest room door and peered in, good, she's still unconscious. Pulling up a chair next to the bed, I sat down, thinking about what I should do with Lana. That was when Jasper appeared next to me, with two Cokes in hand. He have me one, and I asked,
"What should we do with Lana?
He shrugged, and put a hand on my shoulder.
"We'll figure it out,"
I was tired, and so I just dozed off.I woke up with Jasper stroking my hair, and he looked surprised and embarrassed when I woke up. I blushed and went back to sleep. I only woke up again when I felt someone shaking me. I forced open my sleepy eyes, and saw my dad.
"Why is Lana dead?" He said angrily, his hands were balled into fists with rage, and looked as if he was going to hit me.
"She's not dead!" I replied hastily.
"Madeline just knocked her out," Jasper added as looked warily down at my dad's fists.
"Well, you shouldn't have done that, now, out of the house!" My dad said coldly.
I shook, while Jasper sighed. We stepped out and I started to cry, tears rolled down, and I tried to blink them back but couldn't. Jasper turned around to look at me, but I turned my head, not wanting anyone to see me crying. He put an arm around me, and I leaned on his shoulder. We walked back to the car my dad sent, and Jasper drove us back to Carrie's party. But by the time we were back, most of the people were already gone, and there was only the squad left, the girls were chatting with cocktails in hand, and the boys were still swimming. I walked toward them, with tear streaks still on my face. Carrie stood up when she saw me, she offered me some champagne, and hugged me.
"So, what happened?" Scarlett asked as the boys gave me questioning looks.
