"Wow, she's a pretty one," I whispered to Carrie, as a confident looking girl with a small, cute face and straight shoulder length black hair stepped into our dorm.
"She should be in the squad." I said.
"What?! We don't even know her!" Carrie exclaimed in disbelief.
"She's at zero. We're making her a one hundred." I said, while Carrie shook her head.
Then I walked up to the new girl and said, "Hi! Welcome to Star Academy! What's your name?" I asked.
"Oh, hi! I'm Ava." She said with confidence.
"One question. How many students know you right now? Just count the ones that said hi or something." I said.
"Well...maybe two." She said, as I looked at her once more.
"Who said hi to you?" I asked.
"A kid called Marcus and Anderson." She said, as a shocked look crossed my face.
"This one's in. I've made my decision!" I exclaimed.
"What am I in exactly?" She asked with a confused look.
"You're in our squad, girl! Your popularity rank is lower than ten right now, but it's going up to a hundred!" Carrie said.
"What?! How?" she asked.
"You seriously don't know who we are?" I asked.
"Am I supposed to?" She asked.
"Well...yeah but it's fine!" I said cheerfully.
"Wait, then who are you?" She asked.
"We can tell you when you meet the squad. If you don't know the squad, you can't know who we are." I said with a smile.
"Well then when am I gonna meet this squad?" She asked, apparently very excited!
"In about...ten minutes, but we need to get you dressed!" I said.
"I don't have much clothes." She said, as she opened her suitcase, Carrie and I were baffled when we saw her clothes, they were all so plain and simple!
"Don't worry, you can borrow my clothes," Me and Carrie suggested hastily.
"But tomorrow, we're going on a shopping spree!" I said.
"I don't have a lot of money..." She trailed off, as she looked into her wallet.
"Don't worry, we got ya covered. Now, go put on this top and jeans. Later, when we say, 'Welcome...Ava!' Come out of the bathroom. It's not a great entrance but it's just the squad." I said.
"Wait, Ava, you can also wear these heels!" Carrie added as she took out a pair of black Gucci heels out of her enormous shoe closet.
Then, Carrie and I heard the doorbell. We opened the door and saw the whole squad outside. "What's up? You girls said it was important." Steven said.
"Madeline and I had to leave early from the track team," complained Jasper.
"Yeah, I had to get out of the basketball team practice for this," Jay added.
"Alright come in! There's a newbie!" Carrie said excitedly as she ushered everyone into the dorm room that we shared. The squad came in and sat down on our big fluffy carpet.
"This girl is super confident and cute! Welcome...Ava!!!" I said as Ava walked out of the bathroom. She wasn't really steady and slipped, but Carrie steadied her.
"Great way to have an entrance." Steven whispered teasingly to me, and I stomped on his foot.
"Hey everyone." Ava said.
"Now, let's introduce ourselves."
The girls started to introduce themselves.
Carrie introduced herself first. "Hey, I'm Carrie. I am the party girl around here, but I keep up well with my studies too. I'm also the cheerleading team's captain." Carrie said, and she walked over to Ava then whispered something in her ear as Ava's face lit up.
She's probably telling her about her celebrity parents.
"I'm so happy that you're with us! I'm the captain of the girl's track team. I love doing hairstyles, and if I have time I can do one for you, Ava," Madeline said with a friendly wink.
"So, I'm Scarlett and I'm usually the singer and baker of this squad. I'm also in the Glee club and the cheerleading squad!" I said.
Then it went on and on until Jay.
"Wow! You guys are the most popular in the school?" Ava asked.
"Yep! Pretty much!" Everyone answered.
"Well you're becoming one of us now! Well technically, tomorrow, but still!" I said.
Then, everyone talked and had fun.
"Hey, you guys wanna eat here again?" Carrie asked.
"Sure! That's great!" Everyone replied.
We ordered some Chinese and Thai food. We all had so much fun with Ava in our squad! Before we knew it, it was 10:00 o'clock. Everyone said goodbye and left. Carrie,Ava and I took turns taking showers, then we went to bed.
