Jay just texted me. Stupid Lana just took Sophie and Steven to her room to have a "chat". Can u come over? Sure, I texted back. I quickly changed into a white knotted tank top, black jeans, sneakers, and grabbed a denim jacket along with my phone. I rushed to Jay's dorm which he shared with Steven & Chris, and knocked rapidly on the door. Soon, Jay opened the door, he looked so worried!
"Steven and Scarlett aren't back yet, and I don't know if Lana did something bad to them!" Jay ranted as the door opened, and there was Scarlett.
I looked at Scarlett and said, "Wait... what?"
"Sorry guys, I was a bit late, they still have Steven, I got out because I kicked Tiffany's knee and ran away." Sophie explained.
"Ok, now I get it, well, good thing that you're here!" I exclaimed with relief.
"Is Steven ok?" Jay asked.
"I need to go save my buddy if he's hurt!" Jay added determinedly.
"I think that Steven should be okay, but I'm not really sure..." Scarlett replied. "Well, why don't Jay and I go find them, while you sit and rest here," I suggested.
"Good idea," Jay said.
"OK, sure, but stay safe!" Scarlett replied.
So, me and Jay ran as fast as we could to Lana's dorm, we knocked hard on their door, until Gwen opened it.
"Where is Steven?" I shouted.
"Give him to us, and you better not have hurt him," Jay said menacingly.
"Hey, why don't you call Jasper, I think he's at the library," I suggested to Jay.
"Tell him to also bring Madeline, she told me they're studying together, they are so cute!" I told Jay.
"We could do that sometime, you know," Jay replied.
"Sure," I said shyly, and we both blushed. Suddenly, Jay's phone buzzed.
"Carrie, I'm sooo sorry, I need to go to basketball practice, they're announcing the new captain today. Oh, and if you find Steven, please tell him to come over to practice!" Jay said as he gave me a quick peck on the cheek.
"Good luck!" I called after him, I knew he really wanted to be the captain, even though he was new, from all the times I've gone to watch him play, I knew he was the best in the team. (It was how we had met, me, Sophie, and Madeline were there to watch them play because Scarlett had a crush on Steven. Steven was also on the basketball team.)
"What do you want?!" Gwen shouted, and I remembered that I was standing in front of her room.
"Where's Steven?" I asked.
"I don't know, maybe he's out with his girlfriend." Gwen replied.
"Scarlett came back. She told Jay and me everything. Now, let him go!" I yelled. "Who? You mean my future boyfriend? No way!" Gwen said.
"Look, I'm busy right now, can I talk to you another time?" She asked.
"Just let him go!" I yelled.
Then I heard screams and kicking inside the room. I quickly opened the door and ran into the room, but saw Tiffany watching TV and Steven tied up in a chair.
"What the..." I said with a puzzled look on my face.
"Oh, yeah. You didn't realize I had a speaker right? I played that sound effect on my phone." Gwen said proudly.
"I don't care! Now, LET HIM GO!" I yelled.
"Um..no! Why do I have to listen to you? Now, if you don't mind please take a seat on the bean bag and listen." Tiffany said.
"So, you are gonna work for us now, because...we said so! You need to make Steven my boyfriend!" Gwen said excitedly.
"Carrie, please don't do it! Gwen is TOTALLY NOT my type. Also, she isn't as good, nice, or even as pretty as my girlfriend." Steven said.
Gwen's face was as red as a tomato. "Why would you say that?! I'm pretty!" Gwen said angrily. She was paying too much attention to her make-up and her hair just because Steven said that one sentence, so I untied Steven and we both ran out of the room.
"Well, that was a close one!" Steven said with a sigh of relief.
"Yeah! Oh, Jay said that you have basketball practice or something, so um...I think you should go, but I'll tell Scarlett you're safe." I said.
"Ok! Thanks Carrie!" Steven said as he ran downstairs to the gym.
