Today, I had cheerleading practice, and I went downstairs with Scarlett. When we arrived I saw Alice, Gwen, Lana, and Jenny already stretching, Scarlett and I quickly changed into matching clothes and joined Jenny. Soon, Clarissa and Shannon entered the room with a bunch of nervous-looking girls that were new. I told Jenny and Scarlett that the coach said she would be late, and told me as the cheerleading captain to lead the stretching routine. I asked Jenny if she could help the newbies and she nodded, so I walked up to the front of the room and clapped my hands for everyone's attention.
"Today, Coach Johnson will be late, so I'm going to lead the stretching routine with Jenny and Scarlett." I announced.Lana and Gwen rolled their eyes, and whispered to each other.
"We're going to do splits first," I said.
After we finished all the stretching, Coach Johnson stepped in, and thanked Scarlett, Jenny, and me.
"We have some newbies today, and we're going to try on new uniforms!" Coach Johnson announced in a cheerful tone.
"Everyone, go to the girl's locker room to change into the uniforms, while I get to know the newbies," the coach yelled.
After everyone changed into their blue and white uniforms that showed our bellies, we lined up to let Coach Johnson inspect us. Mine suited me so well!
"Lana! What happened to you? You need to lose some weight!" the coach shouted as everyone turned their heads towards Lana, she had belly fat, and it sure was obvious! Everyone snickered and whispered to each other. Lana looked so embarrassed that I thought she might die right on the spot, it was hilarious! But Gwen was super loyal, she shot glares and dirty looks at anyone who laughed. We practiced our new routine and in the end, we made a human pyramid with me on the top, and I did a split in the air. It was all so fun! I saw Lana and Gwen glaring jealousy at me, I just gave them a shrug in return.
