I pulled Ava away from the others and started telling her what we're going to do.

"First, we'll need you to get some sneakers. It's important to wear comfortable footwear during a mission, but no designers, because it's too expensive and the spies will know it's us if we also wear it to school. Next, we'll go to Tiffany's to get the jewelry and gadgets. My dad has placed some agents there. We'll be going to another few shops to get Bella's B-day present and shop for fun. We'll go to the bookstore last. Don't worry about the price, me and the others will pay for most of it."

Ava smiled and pointed out that we need to get the dresses for Belle's party too, I nodded. We got sneakers from random shops and headed towards Tiffany's. A girl in her twenties rushed to us when we entered the shop.

"Miss Madeline! I'm Blake, a fellow agent. Is this the new agent?" I nodded at Blake,"Her name's Ava,"

Blake took us to another room and presented us with a pair of pearl earrings.

"Ava, wear this when you are in action. It's an earpiece that allows you to communicate with the whole agency, you can wear it regularly if you want."

Ava accepted it gratefully.

She turned to me "Hey, Maddy. Do your earrings work like these?"

"Yep, all of them do. I usually wear ear cuffs." I pushed my hair back to reveal my ear cuffs.

"They're easier to take off, and more comfortable. Besides, the sound is usually clearer," "See, the rose here, it's where I press to shoot out lasers,"

"There's a tiny button you can press behind the pearl, it shoots out lasers, it will act like a laser gun, it's not lethal but can be used as a distraction" Blake told us.

"Um.... Maddy, we should buy jumpsuits as our party wear because it's more comfy and we can still run and protect ourselves against enemies," Ava suggested.

"Yeah, great idea, but then we won't be able to hide things" I said

"It'll depend on what we see...."

Ava found a pale blue off shoulder jumpsuit which suited her quite well. I looked at it and decided that I could hide a few things under it. After Ava paid for her jumpsuit, we set off to find mine. Eventually, I found a stylish black coat dress that I expect can fit about 10 things for both offense and defense. Also the heels I received from another agent in the Balenciaga store that had tiny knives hidden on its heel.
