After a few moments of just laying in the snow, I got up and went over to Unit Eleven. He was sitting up, and looked rather relieved. Our walkie talkies beeped, and the voice from the radio said, "Alright, your retrieval team will be by your location in about 7 minutes." That's great. We'll be leaving this hell soon, hoping we don't die of the cold in the process of waiting. "But one thing," the voice continued, "is that your payment has been cut to half of the original. You didn't complete your mission, so you don't get the full credit." I didn't really care that much, since it was still a decent amount of money, but Unit Eleven looked like he had something up his sleeve at this comment. "Well, does it count as full credit if we have this USB?" he said. "What USB? Let me look at your camera," said the voice. I saw the USB had tape on it that said "Project Gw-109-J9". The voice was silent before saying, "Oh /$&@, fine. You'll be paid full price. That's only if you bring that USB back to base in perfect condition." The radio beeped, and turned off. Unit eleven smirked a bit at his accomplishment. I sat down by him in the snow, and we waited for the rescue team to come. I felt so much of my tension loosen at the sheer relief of escaping that hellish place. It is truly over. Unit Eleven fell back onto his back in relief. We layed and sat there for the next few minutes, and we then started hearing the approaching sound of a helicopter. We got up as it was in view, and waved our hands a bit to show the pilot our location incase if they didn't already know. It was easy to see our black suits against the white snow, which was helpful. The helicopter landed not far away, so me and Unit Eleven started walking towards it to meet up with the crew quicker. We met a group of 5 about halfway there. They took us to the helicopter, and we all got in. They said some things to the pilot, and we started to leave. After a few minutes of being in the air, I blacked out. I was exhausted. I kinda don't want to wake up. The peace of this is better than anything out there.
