I told my work crew that I was going on a side mission, and that I wouldn't be back for a while most likely. They wished me good luck and I was on my way to the address given on the paper. After driving for 2 hours I finally reached where the GPS told me to go. I parked my car in a farther back corner of the given lot, and approached the building. It looked pretty old, and the perfect place for a black market or something like that. However when I went inside it looked like a fancy modern lab Galway like from one of those movies. After going down the unusually quiet hallway, the hallway split into two paths, left and right. I decided to go with the right, because what I could look down both hallways right looked safer. As I went down the hallway I noticed some strange images on the walls, including this one that had a yellow star with a rainbow following it and text on top of it saying the more ya' know. After a few minutes this group of guys walked up on me. It surprised me for a moment, and I ended up just falling into the group. They continued their conversations and acted like nothing happened, and I just walked with them, silent. There were 5 of them, and I could tell by how they were talking where they were all from. One was from Florida, one was from Texas (he had a cowboy hat), another from Australia, a guy from Japan, and there was one of those badass quiet ones that hadn't spoken even before the encounter. We made a few turns before going into this one room, and everyone sat down. This felt slightly scripted for some reason. Seven more people joined us, most were from America but there was one from Russia. There was an awkward silence in the room as we all stared at each other and occasionally whispered. Suddenly, someone over the loudspeaker began talking. "Hello," he said, "Thank you for joining us today. We have a very important mission today. Around a month ago we lost a vital facility due to a freak accident. We have made several efforts to find important information there but it has all been in vain. We have desperately been trying to find the people right for the job, and after looking into your histories we saw that you guys fit the job just fine. The plan is to get to the lab via helicopter, secure the experiment, or experiments if you can find others. The main objective will be marked on your maps that will see on your wrists with the suits we will give you. We will watch you with cameras that will be on your suits. Are there any questions?" No one seemed to have any questions, and once that was clear to the person over the intercom they said, "Alright then. Momentarily an area will be open for you to access. You will first see your required gear, which consists of a full body suit, a handgun of your choice, and a special helmet with extensions that have to be manually applied. After you put those on, you can add a few more weapons of your choice to your personal weapon gallery. Just make sure you're not putting too much weight on yourself. You need to be quick and agile for this." Suddenly the Russian guy said, "Wait comrade, why do we need weapons for this mission?" "Well you see," the person on the intercom said, "We have some rival companies that might do anything they can to get their grubby hands on our work. We need to be sure we can protect as many of you as we can." There seemed to be no further questions, so the intercom turned off. Some of the guys got up and went to put on the gear, and everyone else followed. After getting our gear, a person walked into the room and attached cameras to our helmets. He then led us out to an airfield where a helicopter was waiting. Damn, this place was big. We got into the helicopter where the pilots were waiting. "Hey! Welcome aboard," one of the pilots said, "the next stop is Alaska. You might want to hold on." A few seconds later the helicopter lifted off and we began our flight towards the facility. It didn't take long until I drifted off to sleep. Only if I knew then what awaited us.
