We walked down a different corridor before our radios began to buzz. "Hey guys," someone said, sounding very nervous. It was one of the members from a different group. "I think I-" The radio cut off and it was replaced with static. I tried to get my walkie-talkie to work again but it was no use. I realized quickly it wasn't just mine. Eleven and Four's walkies were also not working. "What happened to team 2s' radios? They all cut out," one of the pilots said. I found this suspicious, very suspicious. The entire team's radios just cut out at most likely the same time. I decided to ignore this for now, but I would ponder it later. My group didn't talk too much after that weird situation we were in a few minutes ago. I couldn't help but wonder, if that thing wasn't human, what could it be? I looked down at my automatic gun which gave me some comfort. Whatever it was it would have to get through this thing. While I was distracted, we came to a part of the hall where it split off into four rooms. Eleven told us where to go saying, "Four, you get the left door. I will get the middle two doors. And Seven... you know, just get the last door." I walked in the fourth room and looked around. I could only see a few desks with some science stuff on them and not much more. I suddenly tripped over something and almost went head-first into the floor. I pulled my flashlight around to see what I tripped on. At that moment I felt my soul leave my body for a second. On the floor was a helmet with dried blood and claw marks that dug deep into it. I stumbled away from it. Whatever thing from earlier must have done that. "Hello?" Someone said over the radio, "I think I have found claw marks from where team two were last at and- what was... OH CRAP! OPEN FIRE-" After he cut off I then heard gunfire which Sounded a little ways away but not that far. Eleven rushed into my room with Four and said, "What the hell is going on?!" He was obviously panicking. "We need to regroup ASAP!" Number 6 said over the radio, "we stand a better chance together!" "Don't worry mates!" Number 9 said, "the power should be on any second..." As he was saying that, my group ran into the hallway. As soon as we came into the main hall, the lights flashed on. They flickered here and there but it was better than nothing. There was a growling noise behind us which made us all freeze. I turned around and was met by what was causing all of this chaos. A dark gray (almost black) scaled lizard was staring us down. It was taller than the average male and had a tail with a clubbed end with spikes on it. Dorsal plates ran down from the back of its neck to the end of its tail. It had a horn pattern that looked familiar to me, but at that moment I couldn't tell where it was from. The final thing I noticed was that it had what looked like wings that were too small for it. "What the hell were you making in these labs?" Unit Eleven asked in complete shock of what he was seeing.
