We started to go down the hallway, but after a minute we heard fast moving footsteps in the ceiling, and a vent that was just a few meters behind us fell as the creature came down with it, and roared at us. We started sprinting, but it was faster than the last few encounters. It quickly caught up to us, and leaped up and slammed into me. I somehow landed back first against the floor instead. "Eleven, help!" I shouted. "Sorry Seven," he said. "But I have my own life to worry about." and he started running down the hall. @$!%. I saw that the creature had not attacked me yet, but seemed to be completely frozen with a blank stare. He had one clawed hand on my right shoulder, and it felt like my bones there were slowly being crushed. His other claw-hand thing was raised up in a way that it looked like at any moment it would come down and slash my internal organs out. I saw that his jaw was also slightly open, and I could see the blood stains on his teeth. He turned his head behind him a bit, and seemed to growl at the empty space behind him. Something about him right now wasn't the same as earlier. This is strange. I was somehow not dead yet. "AH, YOU THOUGHT!" I heard Unit Eleven shout as he ran up and shot the weapon at the creature's throat. The creature's eyes darted up to see the weapon aimed at him and was barely able to block the projectile with his claws. When I saw he was not pinning me, I was able to get away from him. The ammunition made a weird, blue explosion on impact, knocking not only the creature but also me away from each other. I was able to quickly recover before scowling at Unit 11. "Not the time for a joke?" he said. "I WAS ALMOST KILLED!" I shouted. "Well you don't have to worry about that after you are blown up," he responded, "I'm saying we have two minutes." We rushed down the hall as the creature made a groaning sound as it recovered from the blast. Unit 11 tried to fire another shot, but the weapon said, "Three minutes unit cooldown." "Well crap!" I said. The adrenaline from being tackled by the creature helped as we ran down the hallway towards the exit of the facility. I heard the creature screech as it got up and began to pursue us. We ran as fast as we could, hoping we could outrun the recovering creature, and I could see some light peeking from the exit door. The sound of some aviation craft started to enhance, and me and Unit Eleven managed to get out of the facility, slam the exit shut, and run as fast as we could as the aviation craft flew over the facility and dropped rather large explosives. A few seconds later, I heard the explosives go off and felt the shockwave of them. I felt myself being thrown several meters. I hit the hard snow-ice mixture shoulder first, and saw that Unit Eleven had landed not far from me. I looked back at the facility, it was collapsing and burning a bit. It's over, he's gone. The world is safe.
